Is anyone else excited? My movie friend and I are going tomorrow night - I hope I can stay awake!

I am so excited!! My dad and his screening posse didn't like it, which probably means it's good. :) Can't see till next week though.

i am so excited. SO EXCITED! every time i see a commercial for it i almost throw up into my own lap. even if i'm in another room and i can't see the tv, i can tell when the commercial comes on just from the muted "hwhumpf" sound at the beginning, and my heart skips. can't wait even a little bit. i hate today, because it is totally in the way of tomorrow. move it, stupid thursday! hurry up hurry up hurry up!

Stoked. Some of what I've read about it has left me concerned, though. Like Bruce Wayne turning into an old recluse and there not being more action in the film. Also, let's not forget the 3 film comic book movie curse! Spidey, X-Men, the original Batman series. Heck, even the first 2 Superman movies were decent, but the third was a turd. Really, really hope they bring back Harvey Dent. That loose end needs to be tied up.

Cautiously optimistic. I'm still mad they took three villains of colour and made them all white, so Morgan Freeman again is the token PoC. And Catwoman's costume is ridiculous.
So I'm waiting to see what other people say!

all that matters is that joseph gordon-levitt will be in it. *swoon*
and nickvicious, they had a funeral for harvey dent. appears to me that end is pretty tied up.

The reason they would have the funeral would be so that they could show Gotham that Harvey was the hero that they thought he was, not a villain. I'll rewatch tonight. To be sure.

nope. his body was still there when b-man took off. (remember he fell with his burnt side facing up, and one of them turned his head so the unburnt side was showing?)

Which bums me out. and it is a bit of a loose end, Batman broke his one rule to save the kid, so Joker wins. So Batman taking the blame for what Two-Face did just so the Joker doesn't win, is pretty pointless. Plus, didn't he leave the lady cop alive? She wasn't in on the cover up at all. And sure to god other people must have noticed him.

gwenc02 wrote: Sooo.... not gonna lie, but I was really really disappointed. Please tell me I'm not the only one. After watching all three in a row it was my least favourite. The reasons are massively spoilertastic so... I thought it was really slow moving at the start which kinda bothered me (but maybe that's because it was 5:30am, I'd been up all night, and wanted action!) and I thought there wasn't enough actual Batman throughout the whole film. Bane is nowhere near as good a villan as The Joker, partly because you can't understand half of the stuff he's saying, and I wasn't overly impressed with the new 'bat'-mobile.
I did like the twists at the end (although I found her being a villain a little hard to believe) and I loved both Robin and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman - it was cool to see her playing something other than a bride/bridesmaid!

OMG and why the hell was this one set/filmed in NYC when the last one was set/filmed in Chicago? Chicago as Gotham was cool, changing it to NYC makes NO SENSE AT ALL.

After what happened in Aurora I'm having second thoughts about going tonight. Not that I'm worried something will happen, just that it feels odd and wrong.
