So far that list is L4D2, Killing Floor, MNC, TF2, Sanctum (I think?), CSS (if I must...), and Magicka. At least, those are the ones I can play because those are the games I own, so I can host servers for any of those games.

It's Friday, Friday, buyin' Steam games on Friday! I'm embarrassed for myself for making that joke.
Red Faction: Armageddon and Dirt 3 are BRAND forking NEW and only $34. That could be the cheapest you see them until the Winter holiday sale. Fallout 3 GOTY for less than $11 is an amazing deal if you haven't played Fallout 3 yet. Even if you have, this one has all the DLC baked right in, which is a hefty amount of content. Worms Reloaded is $5, that's a pretty classically fun game. Empire & Napoleon Total War for $11 is just an insane amount of content if you're into historical RTS games. It's also an insanely large amount of hard drive space, because those games are no joke. A whole mess of Splinter Cells are 66% off, with the whole bundle costing less than $20. Mafia 2 is $7.50, which got several good reviews, and Mass Effect 2 is $6.80, which may be Bioware's best work in the last decade. Both of those are part of franchise sales but the pages won't pull up for me yet, so expect their previous games to be heavily discounted. And finally, Amnesia: The Dark Descent is one of the scariest games of all forking time and it's only $5. Don't miss it!
Today's cheevo goals bring back the one for posting a video to Youtube, and add a freebie for making a wishlist. Since the grand prize for 100 users this summer is the top 10 games in their wishlist for free, you should already have a wishlist built! Surprisingly, DOW2: Retribution makes another appearance, as well as 123 Kick It. Kind of surprised to see Doc Clock in there but whatevs, I own that.

I know nothing about 1-2-3 Kick It except that it's made by the same people who made AAaaaaAAAAaaaaAA! Hence, the ridiculous name. It's sure to be something completely nuts.
You know, I didn't even bother playing with videos yet. I assumed that ticket was gone for good.

Okay, videos. Go to your Steam community page. On the right, in blue there's "View Videos". From there, link your Youtube account to your Steam profile. Then you need to upload a video. The video needs to be public, embeddable, and come up in a search for your username. Then, presumably, you'll be able to add it to your Steam profile.
I have a dumb video on my Youtube account that comes up if you search for "emnii", but that's not my username. My username is so old, it's an email address. So I've put my email address in the video's description and I'm going to hope that will do the trick.

Does it matter what the video is of?
I was going to shoot a game play video although I don't know if I have the right software.

I think FRAPS will let you record a video, even a short one with the demo version.

I just got one in. It appears that I'll have to hide my email address in every video I want to post, which is horrifyingly annoying. But I posted my dumb quick reply tutorial that is already out of date, so I guess you could watch that if you want.

why do you have to hide your e-mail address? or does it automatically show it?

Because my Steam account is so old that my login for Steam isn't "emnii", it's an email address. When Steam searches Youtube for one of my videos, it doesn't search for "emnii", it searches for that email address, so I have to put it in there somewhere or else I won't be able to link any videos.
I just submitted a question to Steam about getting my account renamed. I'm not super comfortable putting that email address all over my Youtube videos.

I'm surprised universe sandbox got an achievement today, but I kind of always thought about getting that to mess around. I've always wanted to crash the earth into the sun also.
Splintercell conviction uses more ubisoft DRM. If you pay for it you will have to make an ubisoft account but you won't have to be logged in 24/7 like you have to be in assassins creed 2 or settlers 7.

Conviction? Or do the old ones do that dumb shiitake too?

Regardless, Ubisoft is forking up. I'm surprised that junk didn't end up in Far Cry 2.

My steam user name isn't B_A_D. Although both use the same e-mail address.
