That explains it.
Were we doing Sanctum tonight? or should I do that solo style before hand?

It sounds like a MP cheevo. I don't know if you can get a party started solo, but then I haven't given Sanctum a shot yet.

I've updated my event to reflect games I plan on having installed/playing/hosting.

So I might try to get in your event late. That's fine, I'm taking a nap after work so I can stay up till I drop, which will probably be between 1am and 2am CDT. In most cases it only takes two to get these MP cheevos.

The Spiral Knights cheevo will literally take less than 15 minutes. We just have to party up, get in a dungeon, and pass around the Firecracker bomb until everyone has touched it.

CS:S is downloading. Steam's servers are being destroyed right now, because I'm downloading waaaaaay under my normal speeds. At this pace, I'll be able to play sometime in the year 2013.

So last night felt pretty successful. We got some Killing Floor cheevos. Cold Stream was played but since BAD survived last we played (and missed the cheevo because she came in halfway through), she died at the finale and had to watch the rest of us soar off to safety. Chia and I juggled the Firecracker bomb in Spiral Knights. Then we split off a little to solo a few more cheevos.
Today, I'm thinking Monday Night Combat (does anyone else own this besides me and BAD?), MAYBE CS:S, suffer through some more Galcon Fusion. We'll see what noon brings for more goals.
Oh and I'll help BAD and anyone else run through Cold Stream again sometime. I'll distract the tank with my supple body.

Most likely the last day of new deals! Tomorrow will probably be a "best of" selection!
I liked Supreme Commander 2, but I was a huge Total Annihilation fan. It's less than $4, so you make the call. It's a sci-fi RTS. All of the X games can be had for $10. It's a series of free-roaming space action and management kind of game. Buying and trading and hunting space pirates and what not. It has a steep learning curve, but they're highly praised. Terraria for $2.50 is like a 2D Minecraft. Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum is less than $7 and that's a whole lot of 3rd edition D&D. I think PAM started off as a Half-Life 2 mod. Regardless, it's $2.50. I LOVE DEAD SPACE. I've read that the mouse controls in the first game are awful, but they fixed it in Dead Space 2, which is good because that game is amazing. Both games for $20 is a good deal. Duke Nukem Forever and Portal 2 are both $25 each. I'll be honest, I like them both for different reasons but I'd take Portal 2 over DNF any day. Plus, if you get Portal 2 you and I can play coop mode, which is ridiculously fun.
Today's cheevo goals don't sound too difficult but then I don't own any of those games except Portal 2, and it's cheevo sounds goddamned impossible.

Apparently, Terraria is not $2.50. It's up to $5 now. I guess it pays to snag things as soon as they go on sale, before anyone catches the error.

I've been crazy broke for most of this sale, but I did get Fallout 3 with all of the dlc and Dead Space 1&2 after getting paid Thursday. And just got Portal 1 for $6.69. I'm worried my laptop isn't up to snuff for Portal 2. My brother did offer me his old gaming desktop - a liquid cooled contraption, so I might have to get that from him soon. I'm sure Dead Space will be fun if it ever finishes downloading (6+ hours and counting).

URG! The new beat hazzard is terribly clunky and slow moving. Ick.
Also they made me give up my stats :(.
As far as cheevos go, I think we've all done KF, L4D2 and perhaps a few others? We finally got Chia into the helicopter so cold stream is done.
Sanctum cheevo seems to be a bit perplexing unsure if we can do this one MP or if it must be done solo? We'll look into it more. What else is there? I'm wishing I had taken down a master list of the needed tasks.

As expected, today's a "best of" of the whole sale's deals. I won't waste a lot of time, here are the games I would not pass on.
Sanctum, Portal 2, The Witcher 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Borderlands, and Magicka.
No new cheevo goals for today. I got tickets for all the prizes I had games for, which put me at 27.

I had to go to easy to have red paints show up. paint is just a lot more common on easy. I was going through 15 minute songs sometimes on medium and not seeing a single red paint.

Last last day sale! This has never happened before. One more day to get publisher packs! The best deals here are the THQ Hit Collection, the Valve Complete Pack (includes Portal 2!!!), the id Super Pack, and the Unreal Deal Pack. The Valve Complete pack is absolutely insanely cheap for so many amazing games.
