fork yes! My favourite cooking show has come to my home and native land.

Who's watching?!

The judges are nuts! The first girl who made it through's dish was vegan (even though it was just samosas)! Why didn't I know about auditions? Seriously, I really want to audition.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! How are you watching where can I watch how can I watch I must watch!!!

Masterchef is the best show! Especially the Australian one, obvs (I am only just now mid-way through Season 4 as I don't have the super-fancy telly like Liz and that is the one they are up to for us in the cheap-seats. Also, simultaneously, Masterchef Australia Professionals!)

I knew what that was going to be before I pressed play! Cheers for the earworm, though. I hate John and Gregg so much! Dickheids. I can just about put up with Gregg on UK Professionals because of the amazingness of Monica and Michel. But, really, that fool has no right judging anyone else's food.

I love Masterchef too! I like the judges so far and there's a good mix of cooks, it seems.

You could get on there with a vegan dish, vijita, but you know they would make you cook meat, boil lobsters, etc. Remember when they had the pig's heads on the American show? Ugh

?! - we can watch at http://www.ctv.ca/MasterChefCanada.aspx but I am not sure if it works outside Canada.

"Sorry, the video you have selected is not available for viewing outside Canada." Bums! Guess I'm going to have to move to Canada.

Ok, it's on youtube! Of course it is, every show is on youtube now. Phew. Saves me moving to Canada. Bit sad about that, actually.

I was disappointed with the live chicken. I understand it is some sort of device but I hate seeing a living animal and then many dead ones with no one bothered by it.

I did like the challenge though - one chicken, one pan, one burner. I think it's strange that some of them seemed so flustered with it in the beginning but it is a very good test of a cook to see what they can do with simple materials and equipment. It's not like they only had the chicken either - every dream ingredient must be in the supply kitchens.

I was so sad to see Dora go, but probably could have seen it coming. I wondered whether she had the "innovative chef" quality.

I had a hard time with all the cow parts this week but kept watching. It may be my imagination but it seems they show more of the cooking process and have the cooks talking more than the American show. I can cook and enjoy cooking but I am not creative - if I want something really good I follow a recipe, so seeing them cook and hearing them talk about it is very interesting to me. I like the chefs/judges much more than the Americans!
