I am now on it! Come find me. My username is choirqueer. Still figuring out what to do with it, but so far I've figured out that I can make long long long lists of all the books I want to read and rate the ones I've already read, which is enough to keep me busy for {very large number representing mass amounts of time}.

I go through phases of reading a ton of books in a short time period and then I'll go months without reading one thing, but I update it when I am reading! www.goodreads.com/hollyhutcheson

http://www.goodreads.com/karakaraiEver since I discovered I don't violently hate the Kindle app on my phone and iPad, I've been trying to read more. I think this could definitely help. There are apps for Android and iPhone, which is stellar. I just wish I could read everything as quickly as I can devour the Harry Potter and Hunger Games series. Thanks for the link, CQ!

The reviews on Goodreads are better than anything on Amazon. There seems to be little of the flame wars/nonsense that takes place on Amazon.com

Maybe knowing the PPK is watching will encourage me to start reading again. I don't know why I've been so lazy. It's not like it's a chore.

I went through a lapse in my voracious readership for a few years. I read all the time as a kid, then I didn't read very much for a few years, and then one day I decided to stop beating myself up for all the reading I wasn't doing, and pick up a book. :)

I've had this account for a long time, and looking through it just makes me want to reread things! I've also been in sort of a reading slump, but I'm hoping to get back into the habit. http://www.goodreads.com/Garrick

http://www.goodreads.com/gwennieI had been going pretty long between updates, but maybe if I had more friends I would update more frequently...

http://www.goodreads.com/teddyplanetThat's me! I am also not the bookworm I once was, but I still am infatuated with my books and want to get through them all...and there are a lot of books I have to read in our bookcases.

My account is super inactive, but I look at goodreads all the time for the reviews. I've found so many books by lurking on profiles of strangers with taste similar to mine.

How are you liking goodreads? I don't have any accounts because I hate the look of Librarything, but the librarian in me wants tags... I mostly read in English, but sometimes in Swedish. It'd be nice to have an easy way to keep track of my reading. Right now I have a journal where I note down what I have read, when, and from which source. I also, just for fun, try to keep track of things like if it's on a list (such as 1001 Books or the Big Read or whatever, though most of what I read isn't). I'm considering tackling all the titles I haven't read from Delta Science Fiction (an old Swedish book series from the 1980s). While I've read many of the authors I found that I had read surprisingly few of the actual books.

You can make as many shelves (tags) as you like and it's great for recommendations too, I think you should join!
