OK, movie genius:
When I was 5-6 years old I was staying at a family friend's house while my parents were out of town. Her daughter is about 3 years older than me and had a video that she wanted to watch in the Brand New VCR. The movie opens with a woman calling her husband (son?) to get out of bed repeatedly. You see a bed with someone tucked in under the covers, and after the woman's voice is heard getting increasingly annoyed, suddenly the form springs upright, the covers falling off of it, and it's a dummy (inflatable?). This shocked me so badly that I began to scream and cry and my mom's friend told her daughter to turn it off despite many protestations.
What movie is this? I've been going nuts trying to figure it out recently. It's probably something completely not-scary, like Ferris Bueller or something (although the dummy in the bed in that movie is not the same and it's not in the beginning of the film). I am dying to watch it again. This would have been made prior to 1986.
Movie sleuth(s), help me!

I have nothing important to add, except I was really hoping it was Ferris Bueller.

So unhelpful, but this reminded me of a crepe movie I saw on the low-rent station when I had chicken pox or something. Think it was called demon seed or something and featured a "smart house" that made a human-ish baby. Gross!!
(I thought it yours was Ferris, too. Don't feel bad if it is innocuous(sp?), because one of the Herbie movies gave me nightmares for years.)
