I think I would've been less upset about them taking Emma if she was in annoying little girl form instead of cute puppy form.

It feels like the excitement is winding down a little too early. Maybe shiitake's about to hit the fan.

My question is why in the fork in grandma hanging out with the druggies in the barn with the little girl, who happens to be the only one in wolf form. Seriously? Makes no sense. She knows the new packmaster is a jackass.

I thought the puppy thing was odd too...Maybe the actress is in school?

there were quite a few good one-liners in this episode. it made the rest of it less tedious.

Did they ever mention trouble controlling the change at first? Because otherwise, it's just kind of weird if they just don't say anything and Grandma is just kind of carrying around a puppy.


I love Lafayette so hard.

Maybe they implied that babies can't control when they change, since mom just walked in on a puppy in pajamas that first time?

I thought Bill was playing a part at first - it looks as though he did join the Lilith cult!

Is anyone else thinking it's something Salome has done with either her or "Lilith's" blood that's making people follow her and/or have visions? Nora said Salome gave her the blood and she was saved (or whatever it's called for vampires), and it looks like the same thing has happened to Bill.

+1 to no more smoke/fire monster. So boring, so pointless.

Also, I'm glad Lafayette is getting back to himself. They need to just let him be for a while so he can go back to being just about the only part of this show worth watching.

I was thinking the blood was drugged too...

I've been wondering if it may be like straight up fairy blood...but that wouldn't really explain why Salame's blood made Bill all hallucinatey. Good theory for the vial, though.

That was my favorite. Also does Lafayette still have the demon in him? Or did Jesus' uncle get it out of him in Mexico?

I have this wild theory that Salome was a faery/part-faery who was made vampire... and that Lilith's blood in the vial or whatever might even just be Salome's blood. Hence all the weird hallucinating and stuff - maybe Salome is Lilith/has herself convinced that she is. Or something.

Also, yeah, who even knows what's going on with the Shreveport pack. Although I think Martha was staying with them because pack loyalty is more important to her than personal desires? (Like what Alcide's Dad was saying in the flashback). No idea why Emma seems to be a Puppy half the time, but maybe they thought some of those scenes would be too scary for the actress to be directly involved in? (Although I guess other scary movies/tv shows have always managed ok).

The awesome Pam-Tara thing is winning me over to Pam a bit. I never really liked her.

I'm pretty much just watching this for Lafayette at the moment. His outfits! His makeup! His everything! He's easily the best part of this show.

So much stuff going on! What wackiness is going to happen next? I'm super upset about them taking emma, but that sets up something to happen to get Luna and Sam involved again. Bill is back to being such a giant douche I can smell the vinegar from my HD TV.

I feel like Martha may not survive whatever it takes for them to get Emma back. I don't know why, just a feeling.

Are there new writers for the show? It's been so awesome lately!

Every time Bill does something particularly dickish, I remember Alan Ball saying he would make Sookie end up with him (again). And then I think, Alan Ball, why do you hate us?

Maybe at the last minute he's not really being a dick blah blah blah. But we all know that he is.

Me too! Mostly Jason's "I love you, Bubba". I suppose Sookie could hold his hand and de-glamour him someday. Poor Hoyt. :(

I have been pondering this question since last night and I think maybe he and his sister decided that he would lie about being "saved" so that he didn't get staked. I'm hoping the Godric vision finally brought her around to not crazy.
