PLEASE tell me someone else watches this incredible amazing perfect show! Somehow it manages to mock telenovelas and mine them for every possible joke and cliche while also BEING a balls to the wall telenovela, and it's all pitch-perfect. So funny, the acting is amazing, and despite crazy soap opera storylines it manages to have more heart than anything. <3

It has become one of my all time favorites; I don't know why I didn't start a thread years ago. I guess I was always able to handle it myself, but guys, I can NOT HANDLE THE SEASON 2 FINALE. PEOPLE. IT WAS TOO MUCH! Just one of those final moments would have been enough to rock the whole world but 3-4 of them?! I am FREAKING OUT. SOMEONE TELL ME YOU WATCHED.

Omg! I love it too! I'm a few episodes behind though. I'll be watching episode 22 tomorrow. Afraid to check how many episodes there are in case I end up reading a spoiler.

It's my favorite thing on TV by far. One of those shows where it's so hard to explain why it's so good--kind of like Veronica Mars.

Yes. It's wonderful except I hate Michael so much.

Oh ahahha no I love Michael! I guess he's kind of like a Dean (from Gilmore Girls), and sooo many people (the cool people) hated Dean, but I loved him too. But can you BELIEVE that ending? I mean aside from him, what about Susanna (that was horrifying) and PETRA??!!!! Petra is my favorite! Aside from Rogelio. And Xio. And ALBA! and Jane. And the narrator. I love everyone.

daisychain please catch up I need reactions!

srock I'm so happy to hear you love it as much as I do <3 <3

Yes Michael and Dean are the same. Exactly. The worst. Rafael forever. His mistakes are way more forgivable than Michaels pathetic, manipulative personality.

I really love this show too but I considered it a guilty pleasure and rarely admit to anyone that I watch it.
I find it very funny and very sweet all while being C-R-A-Z-Y.
And while I don't hate Rafael, I don't particularly care for him either and don't think he is good for Jane; he is better with Petra.
The grandmother is one of my favorites! and it cracks me up how much Rogelio loves Michael.
can't wait for the new season!

I started watching this yesterday based on all of the gushing in this thread, and I was not disappointed! Three episodes in, and I'm ready to start messaging all my friends to make sure they've seen this gem. Thanks so much for starting the thread and kicking off a binge watch of my newest favorite show!

Wow. Just wow. I've been so busy that I've only got the chance to post now.
Spoiler: show
I'm in shock. Not surprised about Michael though. I thought something would happen pre wedding alright to prevent them finally getting jiggly with it.

I'm gutted about Petra. She was really likeable in a lot of this season when her vulnerable side was shown. I'm still hoping for a miracle for her. Saying that..... Wouldn't be surprised if there was a miracle recovery.

As for susanna, initially I was surprised but after the shock wore off then not so much because we saw her actually be shot first in that scene so rosa probably shoved a mask on her and then put the susanna mask on herself and shot herself to be wounded.

Totally gutted, yeah. I mean there HAS to be a recovery at some point, right??!! I'm hoping of course that there will be, because the story could be really interesting. Like one of the characters has to start suspecting Aneska, and slowly figure it out. That could be a great plot especially if the people who figure it out aren't the ones we'd suspect. Damn and I thought Rogelio's stalker was a dark path!

I listened to an interview of the actress who plays Jane so I figured I had to watch. It is so good.
