oooh i like this thread! :-)

i have tickets to see Juliana Hatfield this month
and then in November Kristin Hersh is doing a "Paradoxical Undressing" show at the M.F.A. in Boston. its kind of like a multi media thing. some songs, some readings from her book, probably other stuff but i dont know.

i love me some Kristin :-)

i was debating about seeing Mates of State next month but its a monday night after i get back from vacation :/ i might be very tired and not wanting to drag my arse into the "big city" and back

now i don't like ska AT ALL, but these were very good live... mind you, it was about 1992 when i saw them i think!

we're off to see the descendents again next wednesday at brixton academy, with H2O and face to face... milo better not lose his voice again (although it is a free gig to make up for the last problematic one in april)...

xherbivorex they're still good live! Well, better than good, it was an amazing show, totally worth flying to Vienna for!

I hope The Descendents are on better form when you see them this time, it's awesome they've managed to reorganise the show so soon.

I bought two tickets to see the Amon Tobin show at Decibel in Seattle, but then 12 days before I move to Portland I decide I'm not moving! So now I need to figure out a special trip to the Pacific NW, which should be fun. I am also excited about seeing AIDS Wolf in October!

I going to see Sebadoh in October!!! and have to decide if I want to see Dosh or Black Star in September, they are playing the same night.

I saw Dropdead and Devo this summer those are going to be hard to top.

I came out of lurking to share that Sebadoh news.

glad you enjoyed the bosstones!

descendents were spot on this time too. they were back over for leeds/reading which is how they got this sorted so quickly and since it was prior to them doing the festival set(s) then we got the best of milo's voice this time around! even if the gig had sucked, we still had a nice couple of days in london (spent too much in whole foods, ate the best food i've had in ages at inspiral, bought vegourmet cheese at Vx etc etc).

going to see Trial in sheffield next month. should be a fun show too. last time i saw them was in the basement of a hairdressers in indianapolis in 1997!
