Saw Jonsi last night. (He's vegan too! But now not raw vegan, found it too hard on tour.)

It was mind-blowingly awesome. And he sang at me. And his boyfriend Alex clapped at me at the end! Wooo!

I'm probably going in Adelaide, depending on the timetable. I was all psyched to go for the last couple of years but both times, every band I've wanted to see has been on at the same time. I couldn't justify paying all that money to see a third of what I wanted to see.

I'm not totally excited about this year's lineup, but Boyfriend loves Coheed so we're probably going anyway. I'll be keen to see The Bronx, forked Up, The Sword and Kylesa.

And Kyuss are touring in May, hoping I can get to Adelaide to see them.

If i was in Australia i would be making sure i was going to see The Descendents. Unfortunately it is too close to xmas to get good flights etc. Bummer.

haha, we had to plan flights and shiitake so there was no chance of waiting on the timetable, plus this lineup is pretty much totally amazing for our tastes, so even with a few clashes I think we'll still be stoked.

We're going with one of my good mates who has been to the last four [I think] and has been raving about how much of a good day it is, so we're pretty excited. I just hope they extend to include a New Zealand show soon, all we get is bdo and that's been decidedly bleugh the last bunch of years.

Los Campesinos! in February.

La Dispute in January! And they're actually coming here, I don't have to go to Sydney or something for it. So psyched, it'll only be the third show I've been to here since I moved almost a year ago. No one ever comes to visit.

I am going to see The Rapture in January!!!!! :D


We were going to go but every year it's over 40C so we're being lazy and not going. I'm also giving the Big Day Out a miss this year.

Last two shows were Caribou with some bands I'd never heard of, and Xiu Xiu with The Growlers.

Next show is No Age in January. Not sure if anyone else is on the tour.

No Age are a great love band, I saw them last month!

Right now I am trying to decide if I wanna check out this band called Uncles, they'll play the Cake Shop when I am visiting NYC in December. Well, later this month, I guess.

I saw Ubik and Honduran last night at a rad house show. I am going to see Nux vomica and Dark black on thursday

And it was amazing!!

urgh, you're frightening me, we don't do temperatures above 30 here... The only other time we've been to Sydney [for a whole 48 hours] was for a concert as well and we stupidly walked around for about six hours without any water and nearly died.
BDO is definitely worth a miss this year, we haven't been since 2007
