I'm gonna go see the National in Melbourne on the 9th. Hooray! I'm not really into indie-type stuff, but my partner is, and he introduced me to their music, and I was surprised to actually quite enjoy it. It's also kinda sentimental now, as it's been part of our relationship since near the beginning.

There are always smaller punk shows here in Sacramento, so I may find myself at one, the next "big" show I am plan on going to is Clutch in Feb

When they first reformed with the all original line up I saw them in SF and the show was amazing. They have slightly underwhelmed me the times I have seen them since.

Youth Brigade always puts on a good show

Another band I have not seen, I was supposed to see them last winter and instead puked my guts out at home thanks to the flu.

From the little I can remember, Guided By Voices on New Years Eve was worth it.

finally get to see descendents in april in london, in a relatively reasonable sized venue (i.e. 2000 capacity rather than festival/arena type rubbish). it's only been, oh, 23 years or so since i first heard of them...

Last time I saw the Butthole Surfers they were AMAAAZING.

I saw TSOL in S.F. too at some all day punk thing at the Maritime years back...DRI, Chelsea, the Vibrators, etc....they were great. The sound sucked though.

I bought a ticket to see Interpol in March, and I will see Thin Lizzy in Feb, but no other shows are lined up yet. It's been a slow start...
