I was too sick to go & see Brody Dalle, so that sucks. But I'm going to see Kyary Pamyu Pamyu on Tuesday & Courtney Love in a week or so so I'm trying not to be too bummed out.

I am beginning to think I'll never get to see her though, once I was going to see The Distillers at Reading Festival about 11 years ago and my dumbpants boyfriend started a huge fight wih me before she went onstage & I missed her. Then around the same time I had a ticket to see them in London but couldn't get the money together for train fare so my friends all went without me! I have the worst Brody luck!

Sisters of Mercy in Vienna. Which makes me feel so old.

Also getting to see my baby niece the same weekend, so yay!
My brother says that she can say "blahblahblahblahblah" in a convincing conversational tone. ;D

A bit jealous about Sisters of Mercy. My younger niece is in first grade and has an extremely high pitched voice. Still sounds like blahblahblah to me.

We saw Failure a few weeks ago. The venue made Fred check his bag, but we had to wait for 15 minutes before someone showed up to actually work the coat check booth. We missed seeing one of our favorite songs because of it. The show was great, though.

Last night we saw Poliça. They were awesome.

Morrissey next weekend, assuming he doesn't cancel (he apparently has the flu right now).

I saw them with Gold and Youth last week. Such an amazing show. I went for Gold and Youth (mainly Louise Burns) and was not expecting anything from the Jezabels. I was wrong.

there's a free Nickel Creek concert in Prospect Park next month that I'm super excited about. I'm in love with their new album, plus we can have a picnic!

How did I miss this?! Did you make it to the KPP gig? I was there in the second circle giving it all the hands for "Kyary ANAN" and watching people watching the gig through their ridiculously huge iPads. I love the cosplayers that go to her shows and adored the little girl outside in the Pon Pon Pon outfit.

I'm seeing Devin Townsend at Rock City on Thursday night.

My boyfriend and I saw Failure a couple weeks ago in Pomona, CA. It was one of the best shows I've ever been to! Fantastic Planet is such a great album.

Exciting shiitake! Philly in October.

October is a big concert month for me. Slowdive, Warpaint again (2nd time this year), and my all time favorite local band Creepoid from Philly is on their first national tour with Against Me and then they are switching to the Balance and Composure tour. I get to see them with Balance and Composure. If anyone is seeing Against Me on their tour make sure you go early and catch Creepoid as one of the openers, you won't regret it!
