Yeah, this is one of the (many) reasons I've stopped watching Bones. So awful. I think it's even worse in movies. I paid $15 to see this pile of crepe. Step. OFF!

I keep hoping if I quit watching shows that do this and boycott products that do this, eventually they'll all stop... [/delusional]

I do think that Psych manages to pull it off on occasion. I think it's a combo of good choices for sponsors (snack foods! appropriate for both Shawn & Gus) and good writing. I hope they can continue to Not Suck at it.

The first 0:23 -

Heeeee. "Why am I here??" "Because you're easily distracted." "No I'm not!" *holds out snickers bar* "Oooooh! Thanks man. I was starved."

Cute, and in character. That I can live with. They had a similar one, I can't remember the episode it's from now, but they're searching somebody's locker and Lassiter asks what the suspect had, and Shawn pulls out a bag of Snyder's pretzels and says "... the hungries?" Also cute.

I love that show...

Kyle XY also made it work. Kyle and Josh were addicted to Sour Patch Kids to the point where Kyle ate them as cereal with milk on them. It was cute and funny.
