It's actually not a very good story. I don't even know why I brought it up.

Maybe we should look more at that? What was your motivation in bringing it up?*

I really enjoyed myq's piece in thrillest! I'm going to adopt his response to the "but cheeeeese" argument!

I'm going to use the term 'stealth vegan'* now. I worked at my last job for three years and never told anyone I was vegan. It was a point of pride and also a point of what a self involved d-bag my boss was, because he never offered me food or bought lunch for the office so it never came up.

I remember the meatmeat guy had a post about how vegans will always introduce themselves as vegan and then ask the person they're meeting if they're vegan. Which I took as, that's what he did when he was vegan so he was probably super forking annoying. The only time i've ever had the 'hey are you vegan so am I' talk is at health food stores with the clerks.

*i'm also going to buy a cape and mask because it just seems right.

I'm happy when you provide both practical assistance and impractical entertainment. This was awesome!

And a new comedy special? Hooray!

The comedy special is up on Netflix:

I watched it tonight. I laughed, then felt mildly guilty for laughing at so many holocaust jokes, then laughed some more.

I meant I felt guilty that I laughed as much as I did, not that it was a lot of jokes about the holocaust.

Ok, but, exactly how many jokes about the holocaust are we talking about here?

More than there are jokes about fisting, but I don't want to spoil it.

thank you! to everyone for everything.

and i feel like there are about equal quantities of holocaust and fisting jokes.
(and to be clear, the holocaust joke takes a position ANTI, and the fisting maybe more neutral.)

Fun fact: half of the people mentioned in that article have "died" in the episode i'm watching and if they were already dead, i've seen their ghost. Because no one actually stays dead and gone on this damn show.

i've also not watched the show for a couple years, so i'm a little behind, but nice to know the actors are still working!
