"APACHE, jump on it! APACHE, jump on it!"

Note that the ridiculous lyrics (which the entire song is comprised of) don't make me not love the song.

And, anyone? "I wanna fork you like an animal. I wanna feel you from the inside." HHHNNNGGG so weird. This sounds a little like what a stalker writes in their love letters, no?

Yeah, but that's kind of the point there.

Has MacArthur Park been added yet?

all the sweet green icing flowing down
someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'cause it took so long to bake it
and I'll never have that recipe again

MacArthur Park isn't terrible. It's bad-movie good.

"You're a sensitive aesthete. Brush the sauce onto the meat."

And not only bc of the vegan thing. BECAUSE IT'S AWFUL. (Sorry, 13-year-old RJM. I know we swore never to speak ill of any part of that wonderful show.)

Second: this was the only one I could find that wasn't about blow jobs. I think this guy's entire life consists of thinking about blow jobs.

No, I'm pretty sure it's still about blow jobs. "By now, no doubt that we were heading south/
I guess nobody ever taught her not to speak with a full mouth" is in the next verse.

Quote:
Third: Why would the special lady's mom be pissed at seeing parts of her daughter's body? Awkward, maybe, but pissed? I would think she'd be more pissed that her daughter had Nickleback germs.

this made me laugh so hard I actually hurt myself.

I will say this about Katy Perry: I am not sold on 'firework' as a singular construction in that context.

She probably should have written: "Baby, you are a pyrotechnic display."

and then then next line could be like, "something something something yay", which would actually rhyme, unlike "work" and "burst."

At least that one (a) rhymes (b) makes sense (c) isn't about blow jobs!

I love Paul McCartney & Wings but sometimes...

Well, well, take off your face
Recover from the trip you've been on
I want you to lie on the bed
Get you ready for my polygon

What does that even mean?

It's one of my favorite Elton John songs. But it is a terrible lyric.
