It wasn't a cornerstone of her character like she was falling over herself constantly, but yeah she does get injured and nearly injures her kitchen staff from time to time when she gets excited.

OK Max isn't the one I was thinking of that made me barf, it's the guy that made Lorelai sleep in a separate room. That's Digger right? (Been a while since I watched it first time round.)

Still not a fan of Max but only because I want Lorelai and Luke to get married!

God I hate Jess. I really hate Jess.

Also a few days ago I was at the ep where Emily finds out Lorelai is engaged and says the incred "Our daughter is getting married and she didn't tell us. When Rory gets married, I want her to tell us" line to Richard and I SOBBED it's like the best moment of the whole series. Not really but maybe for Emily.

But yeah I hate Jess. What a dick. Why didn't Lorelai kick him out or punch him or destroy him when he said those things to her at the first dinner thing. OY.

UGH I forgot how much I started hating Jackson during his 4-in-4 rant. SHUT UP JACKSON, IT'S NOT YOUR BODY. Ugh what a douche. And never listens to Sookie even though everyone knows she has trouble communicating.

I always hated Jess with a deep passion but it was Logan and he a-hole snobbery that almost made me stop watching. I just could not stomach him.

Just got to Season 4 of rewatch, which means Digger and Yale. Oy. I can't f-ing stand Paris at the beginning of Yale. I would have marched directly to administration and threatened to press charges if they granted a ONE-SIDED roommate request -- they cannot do that. I know it's just a TV show but it's still the most infuriating thing even in make believe Yale that any kind of power could lead to a stalker getting whatever roommate she wanted, no questions asked. SO ANGRY.

Also Rory makes me so angry all the time. She has zero gumption. Like when she's just sitting with Emily forced to watch ballroom dancing videos instead of spending her last night as she wants?? GIRL GET A SPINE.

^^ HAHA
I always say GG is my fav show of all time, but the more I rewatch it, the more I question myself.
The past couple of episodes I have seen, my running commentary has consistently been "Lorelai is selfish and Rory is weak"

It is strange how much I love a show when I so often hate the lead characters. Both Rory and Lorelai go through phases where I just can't stomach them.

The episodes that focus more on the townies are so much fun, though, that I can ignore Rory and Lorelai. Give me Sookie or Michele or Kirk or Taylor or....

Exactly to both of you! Maybe it's because I'm older now but all my feelings about the stories and characters are almost completely opposite how they were when it aired. I LOVED this show and I don't think I don't love it as much anymore, but it's almost like an awful family member that you have to love? Or something! Very weird. And yeah, how did Michel become my favorite in the whole show? lolol everything is so different for me now OMG AM I GOING TO LOVE APRIL???!!!!!!!!!!!!

April gets so much hate but, is she really any more terrible than most kids on tv? Although I feel like the longer she is around the more annoying her character is around the more annoying she gets. I have to wonder if that's because Amy Sherman Palladino was sinking the ship in season 6 and wanted us to hate everybody.

I listen to the Gilmore Guys podcast and by and large they seem to never like Michel as a character and I LOVE HIM FOREVER. If they did a reboot that was simply the Michel show so I could watch him be sarcastic with people I would be unreasonably happy.

I'm at the point in my rewatch when Lane gets kicked out of her house and performs that weird monologue for Mrs. Kim and I'm sorry but Keiko in that scene is maybe the worst actor I've ever seen. The awkward smiling and the delivery omg it was sooo awkkwaaaaardddddddd.

also that means I'm on the Digger eps UGH UGH UGH
