2NE1's new single. It's burning up the charts. And 14 hours after its release it already had 1,000,000 youtube views.

I know it's just me in this thread now, but I still have to say that 2NE1's album (the many-times-delayed album) has been officially announced. (But without an official release date. Surprise.) It is—or will be—called All or Nothing (which is also the name of the upcoming world tour).

Just so you know, it's Minzy's birthday right now in Korea.

The fantastically silly and wonderful and I-love-it poster for the upcoming world tour and album:

And Minzy's individual teaser:

And! The crazy, cartoony video teaser:

The power of 2NE1's K-pop will save the galaxy!

The "world" tour starts in March, but the album (the full album—10 songs, 3 of them written by CL) comes out February 24. Incredibly, this is only their 2nd full album in nearly 5 years. As busy as they are, they just don't release a lot of music. YG says they'll release another album before the end of the year, but I don't believe him.

Oh, and the first video from the album, set to come out 2/28, reportedly cost almost $500,000. This is no low-budget "Do You Love Me."

Speaking of which:

Album delayed by 2 days. Comes out midnight Korea time, 2/26.

Man, YG can never keep his word.

Hey, Footie, I know you don't watch TV but I thought of you when I watched The Bachelor a couple of weeks ago and 2NE1 was featured on it!!!! The contestants danced onstage as 2NE1's backup dancers when they visited Korea. And I was all: I gotta tell Footie about this. I feel like their appearance was to promote that new album! The venue was huge and PACKED. I thought 2NE1 sounded great! They really change their hairdos like outfits!

I've seen the clips. It was packed, but it was, like, in a mall or something.

I don't know if it was to promote the album. (They filmed it a while ago, and I don't think The Bachelor airs in Korea.)

Here's where they're performing in Seoul on 3/01 and 3/02:

I'm a month and a day late in saying Happy B-day to Minzy in EST. I might be a month in two days late in Korea time, though.

Well, we'll be a year late in wishing her a happy 21st birthday. (She's 21 in Korea, where you're considered 1 year old at birth. Everywhere else, she just turned 20. And everyone's considered a year older at the new year. And when you're 20-by-Korean-reckoning, you're an adult.)

It's happening! Less than 2.5 days to go. Here's Minzy's teaser for the first single:

Soundgarden? "Louder Than Love"? Seattle?! I think she's trying to tell me something!

I knew if I just paid close enough attention, it would all become clear!

(Less than 1.5 days now!)

It's dominating charts in Korea. Hell, this morning it was #12 on iTunes (US).

First video is supposed to come out tomorrow morning Seattle time.

First concert of tour is tomorrow, in Seoul.

The first two (of four) videos from the new album are now out!

"Come Back Home"

"Happy"

"Happy" is, I think, the weakest song on the album, but the video is feisty and cute and light and fun. And—could it be?—was this shot before Minzy's plastic surgery? I can't quite tell.

The video for "Come Back Home" cost around a half a million dollars. (And they're planning on releasing a second video for the song later. Why?)

I don't even want to talk about the controversy with CL's "MTBD".*

Let's just say YG took down the video of the live performance and uploaded a new, edited version. I hope this is the end of the matter, but I still want to go break things.

*I really do want to talk about it. But 1) no one's reading this and 2) I probably wouldn't be able to behave.

Okay, for reals. Time to get with it, people. Watch this live version of "If I Were You," from their Seoul concert of a couple weeks ago.

I get goosebumps. Dara and Minzy (the first two to sing) are not on top of their game—at least in their first parts—but Bom (long black hair) and CL (blond hair) completely kill. This is just such a powerful performance. Trust me: it doesn't matter if you don't understand the words. You will understand.

Can't stop myself from posting another version of "If I Were You." This is from their appearance last week on "Sketchbook." Minzy (far left) is typically rock-solid, but in this performance, she is. On. Point.

YG's newest group to debut is Akdong Musician, the brother-and-sister team who won last year's season of K-Pop Star. They're kind of low-fi and hipsterish. Here's the teaser for their upcoming album:

New 2NE1 video and promotions (for "Gotta Be You") coming next week.

"Come Back Home" has been on the charts for, like, 5 weeks now. Which is a big deal. GET INTO THIS, people!
