I watched some of the Leafs/Montreal game last night. The Leafs lost but I'm hopeful. We're in the playoffs! Yippeee!!!!
Anyone else excited for their teams, matchups, etc? Predictions and so forth?

I am excited! Even though our star goalie is injured and I feel like this has been the weirdest season of all time/I haven't had the time to follow every single move/game like I have in previous years.
I hate HATE hate to say it, but I could see Chicago taking the cup again.
But wooooo! Go Vancouver!

Oh, no, an injured star goalie isn't good! Every loss becomes (well if so-and-so was in net...) in my mind when that happens.

I haven't followed hockey at all this season. Busy semester, no TV, no more boyfriend who was the main reason I watched originally, etc... BUT, I am moving back home to Vancouver in two weeks and I am so excited to follow it now! Vijita, what's the scoop on the Canucks? Do we have a chance? Who is playing well? Not so well?

I think it is great that almost all the Canadian teams in the east made it it... Would have loved to see the jets also but it Both the Habs and the Leafs is a really good thing... Sadly "Yinz Guys" should just pack it in now.. The cup is coming here.. :) and yes I think that is the first time in my life I have used the term "Yinz" !!!

It would be nice to see them play together and have Iginla not play offwing. But sometimes Bylsma.... let's put it this way.. I would have traded tyler kenney for nacho's and a drink. Yeah I am dead to hockey right now. Not really, still watching, but I want to go live on a deserted island for seven years while the Canucks rebuild their team. I really hope Vigneault isn't fired.

Soooo disappointed!!!! Oh, man, that's rough. We had it in the bag! I seriously feel sick to my stomach. I've had fifty billion heart attacks in the last three hours. Oh, man. Well, at least we got a taste of playoff hockey again. Next year!
I guess I'mma vote for Ottawa now...

Yeah that was a heartbreaker - I'm not a Leafs fan but I actually felt bad for them yesterday. I don't think I'll live through this Sens - Pens series. I think I've had five heart attacks and the first period just ended!

yeah, I listened to the Ottawa/Pittsburgh game while I was working. From what I heard it was occasionally heart attack town!
