this pilot with a busted plane draws a picture for a little boy who's wandering around alone in the desert for some reason. the kid's, like, obsessed with flowers or something. he goes on and on about how cranky old men can be and how you can't see stuff if you look at it, and then he gets bitten by a snake, and the pilot's all, "oh, he taught me so much about life and stars, boo hoo."

A man's wife hires a psychic to find their lost cat. She leaves him shortly after. The man makes friends with a teenage girl while looking for said cat. She later traps him down a well, he gets a weird thing on his face, and she moves to countryside to make wigs.

That accurately sums up the book for me. I love this author, but I just couldn't finish this book.

The same stuff just happens over and over and over again for pretty much the whole movie.


This American girl who has issues with her dad gets it on with this gay guy in Germany. She get's pregnant and they are all excited to have the baby and get married but then she goes and has an abortion and then they discover that they have both been cheating on each other with the same guy. Meanwhile they have some friends who are in love but think they can't be together, but then it ends up working out for their friends.
