I think they're trying to make her a bit of a red herring - so we'll all bounce these thoughts back and forth. I think she's trying to make Joe THINK she could be taken in by him and let her in on all the stuff. I'm just about to see her interrogate him, though, so I wonder how that will go.

i keep thinking it's the kid cop. every time kevin bacon goes somewhere with him, i'm like, "HE'S ONE OF THEM, KEVIN BACON!"

I like this show. I feel like it's the new 24 or Fox wants it to be, which means I keep waiting for Kevin Bacon to cut off someone's thumb and scream 'TELL ME WHERE THE GOD DAMN BOMB IS'. Sometimes i'm sensitive to animal violence but so far nothing has made me cry.

And you guys, please refer to his sidekick as Iceman or Troy Vandergraff's twin.

I don't think the dark-haired lady is in on it, I think she was trying to get on Joe's good side because he thanked her for the book when everyone else was watching.

Every time one of them is in something I have to google which one is which so I know if I should refer to him as Iceman or Troy.

So.... am I the only one who thought Jacob and cult chick and other hot guy (Paul) in the shower together was just... awesome? That group dynamic could go in so many super hot, excellent dream inducing directions? I thought the Jacob/Paul(?) flashback on the couch was so hot, and then shortly after they were all damp and steamy and hugging and my libido went HELLYES.

two things:

1. i tOtally thought the FBI cult expert was on joe's team because she was soooo shady when she gave him the book. but ever since then, normal-town. i'm confused.

2. wasn't there a regular ol' female agent in the pilot episode, who was different from the cult expert? did she fall in a hole?

Yep. Definitely him and not the Cult Expert Lady.

I am so sad I have to wait until freaking Monday for the next episode! This is a perfect example of a show to wait and watch all at once.

I want it to turn out that Kevin Bacon is on his team. It would be the ultimate mindfuck.

I must have zoned out because for the life of me I can't remember the dog scene at all. I definitely remember the mouse one though. I'm definitely going to be hooked on this show. I have to be, all we talk about in work is TV.

Just saw a commercial for Monday's episode - looks intense!

what in the forking fork! this show is so stressful to watch.

I'm a little concerned they're going off the deep end. Last night was a little too over the top with adding all those new people to the conspiracy.

i don't know - i think that's what makes it fun to watch. because it's so ridiculous that there are "followers" literally everywhere.

It's pretty unbelievable. Maybe they should make the guy more charismatic. It is hard to imagine so many people willfully following him.

D'oh, I keep forgetting that it is on Mondays. Guess I'll be watching it online tomorrow.

I keep forgetting to watch it too. I only realised earlier today that I haven't watched it the past two weeks. Going to watch it online tonight.

I literally gasped when Iceman got shot. And then I choked from gasping so hard.

At least one of those people should've gotten caught, though. It would've helped the story if the next episode could've involved one of them being questioned.

Also Kristine Sutherland was the cult mom! I haven't seen her in much since Buffy.

Ah that's where i knew cult mum from, it was really bugging me.
