I hadn't paid attention to CHVRCHES. This was a mistake.

Ooooh. And it turns out The European released a couple of records that I totally missed! I do like me some nasally cynical Euro-pop.

There's no video, but "I'm Compromising" is a fantastic song in pretty much every way.

The Head and The Heart came out on Tuesday. It's amazing! I've listened to it over a dozen times already. Beyond excited to see them live next month.

New Sleigh Bells album is spectacular. Also excited for Arcade Fire, love the single.

The Julie Ruin's Run Fast! I've been listening to it non-stop for a month, I think it might be the best thing I've ever heard.

Today features both a new Arcade Fire album AND a new Ulrich Schnauss album! Hooray!

New Arcade Fire is good as of track 2. The Suburbs is a hard act to follow, so we'll see. I like it so far, anyway.

I'm not thrilled with the new Goldfrapp. Maybe it will grow on me? I much prefer the more electronic stuff like Rocker, Ride a White Horse, and Strict Machine.

But, I'm so excited about the new Boy George album. So far it seems very much like his older stuff, showcasing his voice, and not like his Twin phase. It probably isn't as strong as Cheapness & Beauty because on first listen it lacks the energy, but I'll take it!
