Ugh, Sylvia makes Meghan look like...I don't know, a really fascinating person. I feel like nothing might as well have happened. Syliva is dull as a doornail and that storyline is no better. I was so happy when it was over and we could move on but I guess not.

I said yay and clapped my hands at that scene. I just hope Pete isn't scummy enough to out him. Poor Bob, though - if you're gonna fancy your boss, at least fancy one who isn't a complete douche. Or maybe that's the kind of guy Bob is in to.
Maybe Bob thinks he can fix Pete with his good lovin'?

But...Don was just comforting Mrs Rosen. With his penis.

I despise Don so much I questioned (still question?) whether his angst in the elevator was because it was Sally who finally caught him a-philanderin' or if it was just because he got caught period. A guy at work says for sure its the Sally element, but I don't know.

Sally's dinner table outburst was great though. Every episode needs more Sally. And I loved how her friend poured Megan more wine - it was a subtle favorite moment for me for some reason.

I'm curious to see what the point of the Bob revelation will be.

I saw his distress as an acknowledgement that he and Sylvia are definitely finished because now someone knows, with maybe a bit of the Sally element.

Wow, wow, wow. What an episode. Bob Benson mystery = solved. Poor Bob. And Sally is increasingly my favorite character on the show.

I really, really enjoyed reading that this morning. I'm such a nerd, everywednesday morning I check t&l website before I do anything else. I'm always bummed when I am up too early!

I thought it was interesting how they pointed out some of the other gay figures from the show and I think it was very clever that they had secondary characters (Kurt and Peggy's friend) be sort of background gay people instead of having them be headliners. I think it shows how gay culture was starting to pop up here and there.

Also, when they pointed out that Sally was linked to Peggy and dawn, well, I think it must be something about being a strong woman. But that is just a guess.

I was thinking about that connection, too, and I think it's about being (and trying to remain) an honest/uncorrupted person with your own integral values in an environment where liars and scheming opportunists have various types of power over you.

I like Sally! I feel for her being in the middle of it all...

I was thinking that Pete's mom's nurse was a scam artist...Going to seduce her and walk away with money...

I still think Pete's up for a full scale freakout. Maybe not murder, but all this powerlessness is going to have to lead somewhere, I hope it's not to Peggy! I was worried she would call him. Glad she got a cat instead.

It was an interesting episode and the whole Benson thing seems a bit more sensible now. Can't believe it's almost to the finale now.. There's so much to cover that I wonder what they'll get to, and where the focus will be.

I'm going back to hoping the whole Don-Megan-Sylvia apartment building collapses with all inside. Megan and her breakfast and that cross necklace and fetal Don, all buried in rubble for centuries, like Pompeii.

Was I kind of right that Bob and Pete would start their own agency? I mean...kind of?

(I know I know)

You really ought to put a spoiler tag on that. That's how right you were.

Pete knows when he's dealing with a Machiavel (as he said to Duck, he has seen something like this before), and is apparently taking the "keep your friends close but your enemies closer" approach. It will be interesting to see where this goes!

Seriously. I have no idea what's going on.

When Ken got shot, I was still shocked a few seconds into the next scene. When Don's phone rang, I was sure it was gonna be someone calling to tell him Ken was dead/in hospital.

This episode was mental!

OH, I forgot to talk about the Peggy/Ted thing! I kinda love them. I know it wouldn't work for them to get together because the tension of not being able to is what makes it good. As much as I'd like it to continue, I have a feeling Ted is gonna do an about-face and pretty much avoid Peggy now. Poor Peggy.

Yeah, she's screwed no matter what she does, and not in the fun way. We've seen this happen multiple times this season: she starts to get a bit of power, influence, professional/persona; confidence, etc., and then BAM. The boys close the door in her face again and she's reminded that it's still their tree house and they only allow her to play. The sad part is that in a lot of ways things haven't changed all that much for women in the workplace; "smile! You look so much prettier!" Yeah, fork you.

I think I yelled out "Oh my god!!" when Ken got shot, that was so unexpected. I'm glad they didn't kill him off but i think him wanting to leave the company is a sign of things to come.
I found it ammusing how they keep making Sally more and more like her mother, the scene where her friend started beating up that guy for her as she stood back and smirked totally reminded me of Betty.

I thought it was interesting how childish and young Sally seemed this episode at the boarding school (in costume as well), in contrast to how much older she has been acting at home. Though I know she obviously couldn't wear a mini skirt and go go boots to her interview. I think she looked especially childish in the plaid dress and blue headband. A nice contrast to show how in between child/adult she currently.

Plus, she looked so adult in the car next to Betty while she was smoking a cigarette and saying that her father had never done anything for her.
