I also don't know what I'm doing! Is it possible to 'unfollow' all the boards/people I foolishly let Pinterest sign me up to during the sign-up procedure? I 'unfollow all' but they still appear in my feed, wah!

I just tried joining this and they said they would be sending me an invite soon. What does that mean and why is everyone looking for someone else to send them invites? Are they lying to me? Are they not really going to invite me? : )

It's a million times faster if you ask someone you know for an invite because they can do it a lot quicker. If you request an invite on the website it could take days or weeks.

I got an invite only a day or two after I requested it, so hopefully you won't have long to wait!

I received an invite from pinterest 3 days after sending my request to join. I don't know if this was already mentioned, but they require a Facebook or Twitter account to join.

Pinterest will post to your FB timeline unless you go to settings and click the Off button for "Add Pinterest to your Facebook timeline". I turned it off because it's kind of annoying.

Not to sound strange, which I might anyway, but your taste in home decor is so, so, so incredibly similar to my own. I feel lame at first for pinning everything from someone's board, but oh well! It just means we all have good taste.

Pinterest is like the laziest, easiest activism ever! A lot of times when I pin a food photo, a lot of people who are watching the 'recently pinned' page see it and pin it without knowing it's vegan. Now I know that most people will not make the things they pin or even follow through to the recipe but, it's an easy way to maybe plant a few seeds.
