ughhh i spent all evening trying to avoid watching this, and i just turned it on. cant resist.

I just don't buy that Chuck actually liked Raina - let alone that he deemed her 'sacred'. It was like 5 minutes passed after they met, and we're supposed to believe he loves her? Nonono. Not even a smidgen of effort, writers.

If you don't suspend disbelief this whole show makes no sense. Like W would promote an intern to fill a permanent position with someone who is still in school without any interviews etc. And like anyone working at W spends almost no time actually working. And like everyone wouldn't see through Blair's transparent machinations.

And the whole stupidity about the affidavit is so tiring. BLARGH.

Yes. But the show has gone so far beyond the 'suspend disbelief' mandate that it's not about suspending belief about the reality of the presented situations in the show anymore - it's about suspending your disbelief that such a show can still be on the air and that supposedly intelligent people can still be suffering through it.

You know what is realistic? That Dan Humphrey can pick exactly the wrong post-it and accidentally fork up Blair's life.

Also realistic - everyone can have sex all the time. No one is tired, or frustrated, or involuntarily celibate.

Also no one ever talks to eachother and 18 year olds can get their trust fund papers in a box and then write out a $100,000 check without any other formalities.

What is realistic to me is that no matter how high you go, people are just as crazy. We represented the wife of a hedge fund manager with the sickest homes all over the world. She was batshitcrazy.

Another 'meh...' episode. Last week Chuck loved Raina - now he seems to be using her again, how long will this go on? I must be kinda blind even with 42" of HD, I could not really tell the difference between Blaire's shoes....

I couldn't tell the difference between Blair's shoes either! I like hers and Dan's friendship though I think it'll be quickly mucked up.

Blair could have totally turned that situation around - w the two different shoes - by claiming it's the hottest trend as started by Helena Bonham Carter. Any fashion journalist would have mentioned her highness!

i dont even care how ridiculous this show gets. ill never stop watching because chuck is so hot. unless they kill of chuck...in which case they could always have his sexy ghost make appearances like bart did.

so....im confused about this whole damien thing though. where did he come from again? he was selling eric drugs and they became bffs? but now eric isnt on drugs anymore but damien was blackmailing him because he knows about lily faking the affidavit?
