What is up with the long hiatuses on any show worth watching? It feels like the 6 weeks from mid-Jan to February is one arch (culminating in sweeps) and then March and half of April are a desert and then we get another 6 weeks of shows and its the summer off. Then they restart in September and October and end in November and December to be replaced by holiday crepe. Is it because they are that expensive to make?
I feel jerked around by my insane desire to know what is going to happen now! Do I need to buy more of their advertiser's products to get my show? And how can I kill Mr. Sunshine?

I know! I was just looking it up online last night because I sat down to watch, only to realize it was yet another re-run.

It really is annoying! Why do ALL shows follow the same schedule for hiatuses (hiati? Haiti?) and sweeps periods?? Doesn't it make more sense to switch it up? I know if I was a showrunner and had the power, I would put new episodes on when the other bigger shows were on hiatus so my show could rack up the viewers and get higher ratings!! Right? so weird.

"Well we took the scenic route, but we ended up in the same place!" I SERIOUSLY choked. That was PERFECTION.

If possible Happy Endings is worse than Mr Sunshine. How did that crepe get on the air?

Years from now, some of these kids will still be talking about how I Sondheimized them.

I also loved the scene where Luke and Phil were shaking their heads so it looked like the thing wasn't moving. Ha! Gloria was the bestest for me this episode! When Mitchell thought she said "hair ring," I just about died.

That was great! I loved it. And I loved Claire being so offended that Cam and Mitchell weren't considering them. And then getting a call from the police. And Luke pulling up in the limo. And Jay being so great with Manny <3 And Mitch thinking that telling his father about being Lily's guardian was a good idea just when he had Cam up on the rockwall. I laughed way too hard at that.

Boyfriend pretty much is Phil. It's becoming really disturbing. He lost his shiitake at the part where they were watching the moving thing, because he was just about to start shaking his head at the screen to see if it was true.

I think you need to videotape him shaking while watching Phil and Luke shake while watching the paint mixer shake. So meta.

cam's face in the beginning when he was like, "god forbid" almost killed me. also from cam: "I can hear future Lily sending us a message from her stripper pole. Thanks dead gay-dads; this dance is for you!" i snorted so hard when he said that.

That opening was amazing! Omg when Luke said "I've been teaching myself how to juggle" and grabbed the set of knives, and Cam took it back and then Luke grabbed the fruit bowl, all in the span of like 2.5 seconds, without missing a beat. So funny!
Oh man alive I love Phil.

Every once in a while my wife will get this look of horror/revelation that slowly creeps across her face when we watch MF and she realizes it anew. It's okay though, she's pretty much Claire.

Cute! I love this family so much. Every scene I'm like 'these characters are my favorite!' but it changes with the next scene! Amazing.
(Also Kitteh I was play-searching for flights at work and it is almost the same to fly to Australia this summer as it is to go to Rome, which doesn't make sense, but hellyeahhhhhz! I was like I can see Kitteh!!!)
