Just started watching Extras. That's a BBC series and it's surprisingly funny. Recommended!

Watched Agents of SHIELD last night on hulu and was happy enough with it. Definitely going to keep watching to see how it goes.

Watched Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Lucky 7 last night.

I hated Lucky 7. I specifically hated how there was one character set up solely for the purposes of being The Fat Chick Who Redeems Herself By Losing Weight. It's all so patronizing, we're meant to feel sorry for her because she's fat and her husband is a cheating cad, but then she has a breakthrough because at the end of the episode she loses a whole pound, but even more important, she lost it for her and not for him. I mean, all that's missing is some big man behind her patting her on the head going "atta girl!"

I get daily online Nielsen surveys during fall premieres, and boy did I let them have it on this show.

Did anyone watch the SVU premiere? I am kind of too scared to watch 90 minutes of rape and kidnapping, because last season was pretty triggering for me. The show might just be more than I can handle.

So I just watched Dads, because I love love love Seth Green & Giovanni Ribisi. I had no idea what it was about. Oh, holy crepe, that is some of the worst tv EVER. I just read through this thread, and I basically echo everything that's been said about this racist, sexist, unfunny garbage dump of a show. It makes me so sad when actors I like are in something so awful.

Tofulish, I watched the SVU premiere, and the first episode is super rough. I'd say definitely pass on that one. The second episode (they're separated on Hulu) is a fairly standard SVU ep, but there are still a few flashbacks to things that happened in the first. Not sure if that would be triggering or not.

Thanks! I think I might have to just stop watching. I found last season really triggering and even the idea of the story of the first episode that I read online makes me feel ill.

Sleepy Hollow is one of my fall favorites. I am also watching:

Two Broke Girls
The BlackList
Person of Interest (love Jim Cavaziel and Michael Emerson!)
Supernatural (yes, UGH)
American Horror Story (the witch storyline intrigues me)
The Crazy Ones (kind of painful to watch)
The Big Bang Theory

I just watched Brooklyn 99, and I freakin loved it! I actually really disliked Sandberg on SNL so I don't know why I even gave it a chance, really. But I watched all three in a row, and laughed quite a lot! I love the C.O. guy SO MUCH. And Sandberg didn't annoy me at all, I think it's a good vehicle for him. It took what was potentially funny about him from SNL and removed the really obscene 'cream tang in my pants' faces he'd always end up making. (Which I think was what I disliked about him previously, it's just that one facial expression he seemed to make a lot)

I am really disappointed in Agents of SHEILD. I'll give it another episode or two, but it felt really dis-jointed, and they didn't make any of the characters seem very interesting. Also, when I started watching the first episode, I felt confused, like... did I skip an episode or two? It just didn't feel like they cared to get me interested, like a pilot usually does.

Oh and, I really did not get a Whedon feel from it. I didn't look at the credits for the first episode so I actually thought at first that I must have heard wrong about it being a Whedon show.

Brian and I watched two episodes of The Goldbergs and went 'meh'. I also watched Ironside and Super Fun Night, don't ask me what happened in Ironside because i've already forgotten. And Super Fun Night...well, first of all, nothing that was in the trailer was in the pilot? What? And it was just sappy and dumb.

I watched the first 2 eps of back in the game with maggie lawson. It's not getting promoted at all, but I enjoyed it. It's not amazing, but it's good enough to keep watching and I think it has potential to get better if it doesn't get canceled. I also listened to maggie lawson on the jv club podcast from forever ago and now I really want her new shw to succeed.

So, the first victim has fallen- Lucky 7 got cancelled. Which is fine by me because that show sucked balls.

I'm liking We Are Men, but I do feel a little ashamed about it. Tony Shaloub + Kal Penn + Jerry O'Connell + cute boy. I watch it between HIMYM and 2 Broke Girls, but I'm not sure why I'm still watching 2BG. I feel like it's always so close to being good but it never quite gets there.

yeah, super fun night felt like i should have already seen 5 episodes of it. none of the characters seemed to have any motivation to be acting the way they were. it really felt like we were missing some important information. but it's produced by michael showalter and conan o'brien (i think?), so I really want to like it!

I actually liked Agents of Shield. I like Sleepy Hollow MORE, but I'm giving Agents of SHIELD at least a few more episodes. You are right though, it doesn't really have much of a whedon feel at least in the 2nd episode, which makes me sad.

hello ladies is already kind of losing me, which is a bummer. i thought i'd be rooting for an awkward underdog, but merchant's character is mostly a jerk, and i'm sort of bored. please get better, show.

I got sucked into "Hostages" last week...and watched it again this week. I usually hate "cop shows," so my husband is making fun of me. I don't think this is a cop show. It's a weird diabolical bad guy show.

My TV watching is pretty low this season actually. Watching Agents of SHIELD.It's okay, but I think it'll get better as it goes (I hope so anyway).

And watching the new series of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That show has remained consistently brilliant for 9 seasons now.So under-rated.

I forgot Grimm! I love this show! I probably forgot to list it because it starts so late in October.
