I will take "And you know what? So was I!" over "I don't want to go" every. freaking. time. I just watched End of Time. I wasn't sure when watching them what the popular opinion of the specials was. But you know what? I liked them. And I liked "I don't want to go." I guess I liked the specials because the doctor wasn't perfect. He was a kind of arrogant and occasionally whiny. And I totally believe that in 906 years you'd have some whiny self-important spells. God knows I've had enough in 24 years. I haven't seen any Matt Smith yet...I was pretty late to get on the Doctor Who bandwagon. Excited to, though. I wish it was already up on Netflix watch instantly.

I didn't cry at the Van Gogh episode.
I am a monster.

I didn't cry during the van Gogh episode, either. But everyone already knows that I'm a monster.

I had a heart, but I hid it away, because it had feelings in it.
And I can't remember where I put it. Perhaps it is in an old shoe, or perhaps I baked it into a pie.

I cried at the Van Gogh episode. It was kind of close to home. Woo mental health! But rewatching the Pandorica episodes... eh, they seem less ~epic~ the second time around, which I guess is understandable.

I don't tend to cry at tv shows/movies but we'll see. My first Season 5 dvd is supposed to come from Netflix today.

I'm just about to watch The Lodger again! I probably said this before, but... James Corden is pretty much known as being a bit of a wanker here, so I was originally kinda worried about this episode when it first went to air. It is SO good though. SO good. Love.

That was my favorite episode from series 5. I like it when the Doctor is imperfect.

You know you like Dr. Who too much when you almost pick a paint color because it's called Journey's End.

Update, now that I've finished season 5: The Lodger was my favorite episode of the season. I liked the Van Gogh episode, though I don't get why everyone cried. The pandorica episodes mostly made me really excited for the next season. For some reason I feel like I'll like it more than this last one. Maybe just because I'm more used to Matt Smith, and everyone has settled into their roles more. And I'm really curious to see where they're going to go with River.

Just finished the first season. Daleks are the best! Not too excited about the new Doctor, though...

haha, oh god, its like moffat could hear the entire doctor who-watching community last season yelling "why does she never wear pants?" while simultaneously yelling "we don't really mind, though!"

I haven't watched it yet, but I do really mind she never wears pants, nor gets any looks for being in historically inappropriate clothes, whereas the other companions totally did.
