Yep. It's not sex, it's sex with Buffy.

I know... But I still like the idea of him never ever having a little bonding time with Angel Jr being the reason he's so broody.

Cause dude is broody like a PRO. I feel like there has to be a training regimen involved and abstinence might be part of it.

Yeah, that's actually why when I first saw it I had a really hard time drawing any connection at all. I guess either the soul's connecting flight was delayed or he's actually made happiest by sporking...?

Eeeeeenteresting. Once again, I really need to watch some dang Angel, I guess. I watched Season 1 and then... stopped.

It's excellent. Well, season 4 is a harrowing experience, but other than that.

Ha, unfortunately no. It had an unfortunate accident last year, but we did salvage the head and stick it on the kitchen wall

(which I realise sounds a little disturbing).

Actually I think Spike would approve.

I just bought the whole Buffy DVD collection on Amazon as it was on sale last week for $70. I had to force myself to do it as I've been spending a bunch on used Doctor Who VHS tapes, but I did. Haven't yet watched any of them, but I love knowing I can whenever I want!

OMG, I wish I had known this! I've been re-watching the entire thing on Netflix and I'm just as obsessed as the first time. I guess I don't really need the DVDs as I can stream it on Netflix anytime, but I WANT them.

Thanks for making me feel like I'm not crazy for spending the dough...I looked at Amazon today and it's gone back up to like $179!!!!!!

I paid more than $70 ... but I got it on Amazon after Thanksgiving. It's almost guaranteed that the box set will be a deal/ on sale.

Sometimes I think about replacing my dvds just because the packaging is raggedy and the discs fall out. I really hate the original fold-out style boxes.

I only had S2 before I got the box set.

I really don't like the DVDs, to be honest. I like having them. I hate the menus that make you sit through crappy animations just to get to the episode that you want.

Season 2 is the only one where the menus really bother me, because it's long and animated and you can't skip it.

It's the worst one for sure.

I borrowed them from Netflix, and they somehow made it to my iTunes permanently. I'd really like to get the boxed set, since I know there's an extra disc in there, too. Maybe if it's the only thing I put in my Christmas list, people will take me seriously this year.

We watched the series as it came out on DVD, there were a couple nights that we went to the super Walmart at midnight to get the new set, the funniest part was that their were other Buffy fans their too! And that was in Springfield IL.

Now I watch them on Netflix because I am that lazy.

You know, Best Buy had the extra disc for free with some stuff last year sometime and mixmaster_mo sent me one (because she is amazing!)... I still haven't watched it.

I thought I sent you the one from the Paley convention? I don't even know if they're the same one because I've had the huge boxed set for years and haven't watched the special disc because I promised myself I'd do a full marathon before I did. Then I tried to get Era to watch it with me, but it was bumming me out because he's really not interested. So...I think I'm gonna have to DTMFA. Haha.

Oh, maybe it was. I don't know! I really need to watch it already. Either way I know I have possession of that extra box-set disc, I think I downloaded it at some point. Still never watched it.

I think the moral of this story is that the bonus disc isn't all that interesting and Mo is going to be single soon.

If the special disc is the one from the Paley Convention, then I have that, but if it isn't, I'm considering buying it on eBay because Amazon is no longer selling the 40 disc set. :(
