I'm in camp Piz too. Though, I did love Logan. Piz was just adorable!

I always liked Piz, I just liked Logan more... mostly I felt bad for the poor shaggy-haired cutie. It was doomed from the start. Logan is definitely the Spike of VM, which does make Duncan the Angel, except that Duncan never got even remotely as interesting as Angel and thank god no one ever gave Teddy Dunn his own show.

Yeah, I guess the parallels break down a little with Duncan/Angel. He was her first love, but that's about it. How boring would a Duncan show have been?! Oh my gosh.

I loved Logan, but I thought it was a total turn off when he went around punching people 'cuz he was stupid and jealous. Which is funny, considering I like some pretty violent male characters.

It's funny, I can totally see that, but suzukibeane and I rewatched season 3 recently (well, first watch for her) and every time Logan beat someone up we both got inappropriately hot and bothered.

I only like psychos on tv, I swear.

I don't know why I get turned off by Logan. I think it's because he punches people just because he's possessive and jealous, and I only find that hot when the guy has fangs. /fictional issues

Haha, true. I guess it's just a general thing for me- people doing gawdawful English accents in American shows? Nothing personal against Dru, but if you were constantly subjected to 'American' accents which bore no relation to any you knew existed in real life would you not get just a wee bit "Come on"!!??!!

And Spike's got no natural English accent either. And Angel and his Irish accent?

I just read on Wikipedia she was going for a Cockney accent.

Okay I can see the whole Tara/Willow musical number being ridiculous on so many levels. So full of cheese (and not good vegan cheese)!

Also agree with not feeling the love for Glory. That whole storyline was lame imo and I couldn't wait for it to be over. I found her character just to be obnoxious.

I've read that Wes is the only American in the Whedonverse with a realistic accent.

I've always wondered why Darla had no accent whatsoever. Even if she was American, she was pretty old. It seems like she would've had something muddled.

All of them were wrong, but hers was the worst! Even real 'cockney' accents do my head in a bit tho (and I'm sure the same could be said of some Scottish accents. Well, slightly less as we're just too damn sexy) I'm probably just a racialist or sommat.

That's funny, because Barrowman is sooooo American from this perspective! When he 'puts on' his Scottish accent it sounds majorly false!

Totally! I've had a similar thought. I don't know if there's a Veronica Mars thread yet but there should be. I'm only halfway through season 3.

And now I'm trying to find a way to watch Season 5 Ep. 10 of Angel. It's so annoying that it's the only one not on Netflix Watch Instantly. Just thought someone should whine about that on the new board.
