Yeah, that whole outfit was just kind of early 2000s Walmart. What can you even say?

They weren't too hard on Anthony Ryan's pants last episode either, and that shiitake had crazy crotch. Michael Kors would not have let that pass.

I have realized I have really missed Cassanova and his slutty grandma clothes.

Yep, it was Santino! He did the BEST impression of Tim Gunn saying Andre's name. I loved the dynamic between them.

Wendy's outfit was a $10 Halloween costume at best. Ivy's was just bad. I think Uli won with a dress that was not the best, but with one that was the least awful.

I did not care for anything this week...At least it looks like they are showing the actual work behind the clothing, which after the first one I was not sure of.

See ya Suede - he started getting annoying fast.

I think Ivy's look was ugly and cheap looking...

crepe! I hate when I don't think first, and come into a thread before I've watched the episode. ; )

the 'aerosol art' building is called 5ptz http://5ptz.com/ and i'm 95% sure that it's being torn down for lux condos/apts.
anyway suede was just filler. there was no way he was going to win. i sew and when i checked out his sewing patterns 'suedesays' they were pretty bad.

ivy being in the top 3 was odd.

i liked the graphic designer guy's dress more than emilio.

I've really not been very impressed with much on All Stars so far.. I thought Emilio's dress was fun and playful but obvs not flattering, and so many others were just bad. Poor Andre...

thanks y'all for reminding me about santino! he was hilarious!

i actually am enjoying all stars a lot compared to season 10 of PR. i agree with what someone else said about the editing being kinda bad, like they are focusing on certain people so you can sorta tell who isn't going to be on the show much longer, but still, i like PR and i watch the spin-offs. although i never did watch the model spin-off show, although it has gotten canceled, did any of y'all like it?

I liked the model show ok. I liked that they showed the other side of everything, but there wasn't much other substance to it..kinda like real world/project runway.

I'm kind of bored with all stars as well. I don't know if it's just that I'm getting tired of the idea/format or if it's the editing since it moved to Lifetime. I think that's when I started just not being as excited about it anymore.

The editing on this season of all stars had been particularly frustrating -- the first few episodes I felt like we hardly saw the clothes at all, even on the runway. I think it's been getting a little better, but I am not a fan of Joanna Coles as the "mentor." She cannot give constructive criticism. And she seems like she just repeats the same "pearls of wisdom" each week. And she's not Tim Gunn.

I was sad to see Andre go, although his designs were not really up to par. I loved his exchanges with the judges -- the back and forth with Isaac was hilarious and adorable this week.

I do at least appreciate that Isaac consistently finds something he would change about almost every garment. It's annoying when the judges are like, "wow, it's so perfect!" How often should you really come across a design that you would call "perfect"? Particularly one that was designed and made in one day.

The judges' criticism can be odd. You often can't tell which designs are in the top or bottom until they're discussing it privately among themselves.

and they're so positive! at least compared to PR..where they can be harsh at all times.. I mean, there's nothing wrong with saying something positive about everything (even the horrible designs), but it's a little strange, comparatively. And since I haven't liked anything that much (just as a viewer), it's weird that they've seemed to love so much?

yes i do also like the judges better on all stars than the regular season. i think andre gave a good summary during his exit interview as to why the all star judges are so great with feedback.

i wasn't over the top in love with the stuff andre designed, but i really liked his personality, such a very cool goof-ball!

I'm watching! Yeah, I didn't agree with either choice. I thought it should have been Ivy and Uli, but I guess they were just really sick of those jumpsuits! Ivy has to really pick it up to not go home next week. I think Uli is my favorite of the remaining....but I really don't think anything has been super standout compared to any other Project Runways.

I "watch" it through reading the Tom and Lorenzo recaps. Too boring to sit through the whole thing.

That's what I thought it should have been as well. Anthony Ryan was the worst of the top three, in my opinion. I imagine Ivy will be out next week - it's about that time for her. I'm pretty sure AR will win (they've been giving him a winner edit since very early on), but I'll keep watching. I don't think I'll ever be able to quit this show! :)

actually anthony ryan and emilio were my faves this week.

i totally do not get joshua's outfit this week. i have no idea why the judges thought it was brilliant, in my opinion, i thought it looked cheap and not 20s at all..... i have a love/hate with joshua's design. that crazy bra top he created last week or the week before was pretty darn awesome, it was a shame the hot pants couldn't have been as fantastic.....
