i watched the reunion show. i liked it. sandro is still crazy but he did have one moment of complete sanity when he quietly told helen that he was not going to get the response from alexandria that she wanted. and what was up with that snarl between helen and alexandria? alexandria is soooooo weird!

not sure if ken has truly grown emotionally or if he was just saying what would be normal and non-angry to say.

was flippin' amazed that tim gunn even remotely hinted that mondo should have won over gretchen. that floored me.

but yeah, the reunion show was good. looking forward to the next episode of all stars.

i watched the first 30 minutes of the reunion....

all-stars: daniel just gives me the creeps. i knew who won as soon as they said debbie was going to wear the outfit. while seth's was good i did not picture someone in her 60s pulling it off...

I fell asleep during the finale part 1 and decided I couldn't be bothered to watch the rest.

But I'm watching all stars!

He's actually made similar comments before. There is a video of him saying something to the effect of 'Mondo is going to have a great career, Gretchen needs the [prize] money.'

yeah. i'm concerned about melissa. hope she can pull it together.

also, what the fizzle with the outfit with the hood on it? this is the best example of how fashion is so subjective.

i did not understand that neck wrap that made the model look like an uncircumcised penis...

wasn't surprised that melissa went home. was sad to see her go, i really liked her on the season she was on, but she just didn't seem to bring her a-game to all stars.

elena is doing well. i don't always love what she makes (personal preference) but i respect her construction skills. if she can keep herself from falling apart, she might be the one to beat.

i'm also liking mychael as well.

christopher, to me, still seems so young.

am very much enjoying all stars. allysa millano is a million times better at hosting, and zanna (probably spelled her name wrong) seems so much more bubbly, enthusiastic, and less reserved than joanna (?), the previous mentor for the past 2 seasons.

I just watched most of last week's show (the insect/avant garde challenge), and I think I'm done for this season. Isaac criticizing Jeffrey's look because the model can't drink a martini? Since when does avante garde have ANYTHING to do with a cocktail party? And any guest judges should really be able to sew a sleeve (Anya). When I saw that Michael won, I was like, nope - I'm out. I was somewhat encouraged last week, but it appears that the WTFery is high again this season, so I'll save myself the frustration.

i'm still going to tune in. and i agree that anya does not make the best guest judge.

i do really like isaac's personality though. he seems quite fond of the designers, i do like how he calls them "kids," and i find his praise and criticism nice. i actually prefer isaac over zack posen (or however you spell his name). i honestly don't know anything about fashion (dont read the magazines or anything) but i find zack youngish/immature and too harsh at times.

i also still do not like that 3 winners are on this season of all stars. if they can't find enough good quality designers to come back, then maybe all stars needs to come to an end. i really feel all stars is for the best of the best (winners excluding) and really gives those who almost made it to the finals and/or were elimated at the finals a 2nd chance for a true win.

Mychael is on this? I liked him on his season. He did great until fashion week when he suddenly served up horrible shiny, tight, tacky crepe. I heard he changed his name from Michael to Mychael, but haven't seen what he has been doing.

there was a dress that was safe this time around that i thought looked sloppy...it was purple with black mesh...it was a desinger that just sits in the background till they get kicked off.

victor's fan is annoying....

yeah irena (previous season winner) seems to be getting the video "edit" that she will not be in the top 3 - 5. [edited to add: not the designer you are talking about]

agreed, victor's fan is annoying. and i couldn't believe he jokingly, or seriously, hit on the bartender!

I like Melissa because she makes shiitake I would actually wear, but the montage of that same dress over and over... yeah, time to go.

I agree... I like her until I remember her obsession with leather/suede and then I just cringe.

I was really impressed with Viktor's dress. Would have loved to see it with a different skirt.

no designers eliminated this week. wonder if they will do a double elimination next week?

i do not like korto. i do not like people who talk about themselves in 3rd person. i also do not like anything she makes.

was impressed that elena did not confront victor about him possibly copying her technique (a technique it seems she did not end up using). elena does need to step out of her box and do something besides color blocking, she does have great construction skills.

i thought viktor would have won over christopher, i thought victor's design would have photographed better in an ad, but good for christopher. he's not my fave, mostly because he seems so young, but he usually does nice stuff.

i was surprised at what irena designed, it was fun and barbie and cheerful, but didn't seem like her.

i liked irena's flower dress! i am into making paper flower arrangements right now...

i thought Isaac's comments about everyone being bullied was such a jerk thing to say....

am 100% surprised that JEFFERY won the challenge. what?!

also surprised with how seemingly well korto and elena worked together.

was sad to see mychael go, but that jacket was a hot 80s mess. victor's outfit wasn't much better.

christopher's outfit was quite pretty, as usual. i think victor was jealous of the praise the judges gave to him.

irena's outfit was beautiful and i'm surprised she did not win the challenge.

i found it funny the judges kept praising all the men's pants, i could tell they were made well but didn't see the big deal. well then again considering how awful men's wear challenges usually go, now i get it ;)

loved the marge simpson challenge, so awesome!

was anyone else alarmed that guest judge (and former all star winner anthony ryan) had a shaved (bald??) head and pale skin?

I don't know. Maybe it's the new way to have a Mohawk. Admittedly, it was pretty awful. I hope AR is healthy and doing well.

i wonder why victor came out with the news of having hiv, was it because he knew mondo was on the show? it felt forced/odd...

irena's dress did look like a bridal dress. i am surprised she was on for so long since they did not show much of her.

i'm actually glad irena got booted off, she and the other 2 former season winners should NOT have been included in the all-stars show. i have a feeling the producers are struggling to continue to find talented & willing all-star contestants which is why they brought back 3 previous winners.

shocked at victor's news but felt confused that he would confess his secret on national tv.

I haven't seen this ep yet, but didn't Mondo do the same thing on his season? I don't think his parents even knew...
