So, welcome to yet another season of incomprehensible judging! Quiet talent? Thanks, but no thanks. Vocal with limited design skills? You're in!

Kahindo's was not at all the worst thing on the runway, but she was sent home because she's not interesting/controversial/bisque-y enough.

Kate's was fine, but I thought Bradon's dress was the clear winner, especially after he added the jacket.

Whatevs.

His work reminds me of Dmitri, the winner a couple seasons ago, if you took away 90% of his sewing/tailoring skill and about 20% of the fabric after he was done.

What ever happens to the winners? I saw "hot mess guy" on E gossip last night because he got engaged. Also he had a Payless shoe line...Then a non-winner from last season (Chris, I believe bald-beard-no one cared for) makes appearances on our news station he is from the area...

i stopped watching PR a bunch of seasons ago (maybe when it changed networks?), but this season there are two designers from my hometown on it (miranda and eco-unicorn), so i decided in a whim to jump back in. i watched ep 1 last night and i'll probably watch ep 2 today so i can be all caught up for tomorrow. i also learned last night that miranda lives super super close to me. i feel like i need to keep an eye out!

Is it just me or do Miranda and Unicorn guy look like they're the same person in slightly different costumes?

They have that Milwaukee look about them.

I would have liked to see them critique more designs, like 3 winners and 3 losers. I thought there were more good ones! And I'm a little torn on the outcome because while I wanted to see Timothy get the boot for the last couple designs, I didn't think theirs tonight was as bad as the peplum confection.

The Domo-kun-ish dress was, I thought, great, but taking SUCH a chance. It is not at all the kind of thing that the judges normally like, and if the designers had made any slight slips from the placement of different elements they would've stomped on it.

The sombrero dress seemed like a much safer choice stylistically, though obviously slips in the execution would have doomed it as well.

Miranda was a total bisque. I kinda felt sorry for unicorn dude...but I am glad he got the boot.

I guess I am not the only one with a black heart on my cheek any longer....

How did they not bring the red-headed guy's design back (sorry, I cannot keep up with names)? It looked like a table of ties at the store. Ridiculous. Like a Father's Day display.

i think the ties could have looked cool as a corset with boning in them...

Dom has some super cute ideas! Kate's outfit really reminded me of Michelle's collection from the finale last season.

Ok, this episode was just too adorable. I agreed with the judges on the top 3, and Brandon(?) was just too adorable.

I'm also happy Sandro left... his behavior was pretty disturbing and I hope that it was a factor of being on tv and he's not that temperamental in real life.

sandro was a very disturbing person. even if everyone's personality is a bit feistier due to the stress of the show, i think sandro has serious issues, he has a huge ego, dellusions that zack posen was out to get him, and other stuff. i think sandro is a scary person in real life too.

Surely they do psych screenings before casting, right?

In the pre-show 'get to know the contestant' thing he seemed goofy not scary. Maybe the stress got to him? He never heard criticism before? Obviously he had no manners...

he was just a disturbing person. i thought richard and joshua (different seasons) were a bit wack, richard made me feel really uncomfortable and i wasn't even with him in person, LOL! glad sandro is gone, sure everyone on cast will sleep well and enjoy a tension-free work room.

Oh, man, he was a ticking time-bomb. Even in the video confessional when he was just talking to the camera, he had an intensity that scared me a bit. And then when he dragged a crew member into the workroom because something wasn't to his liking (I can't remember what it was, some piece of equipment) it ratcheted up the creepiness in my book. I'm glad he's gone. There's drama and then there's scary drama.

So far, my favorites in terms of both personality and design are Dom and Bradon. They both seem genuinely talented and refreshingly drama free.

okay, ken is just as crazy as sandro. wish he was sent home too. and how creepy was it that sandro came back to apologize, wonder if it was even sincere.

also, i know kate's team was the winning team, but i preferred the other looks from the other top team so much more.
