yeah, bradon's look was so freakin' amazing! i think dom won the challenge though since she really used the print everywhere -- bradon just used it in the jacket.

i'm just continually shocked that she is still on the show. last week's dress was awful.

really surprised alexandria was safe; i thought for sure she'd be in the bottom three. even more shocked that they eliminated kate. honestly, of the three in the bottom, i thought justin would definitely be going home, not the one they saved. sigh.

Justin and Alexandria have both made it farther than they should have. Neither of them should be in the final, IMO. I was also super shocked that they eliminated Kate. That... thing... she made was absolutely hideous, but they were really giving her the Chosen One edit.

I agree with most of what's been said here. Justin and Alexandria should've been sent home. I'm really surprised.

Yeah, it really seems like most designers get a few chances - and this is Kate's first design that was really bad, I thought. (Though I still thought Alexandra's tattered zombie costume was the worst - why was she safe?!) Alexandra has on the bottom most of the time lately, and Justin's highs are just ok and his lows really bad. Agreed that they have both gone too far.

I liked Dom's print, but the dress shape was..not great. It looked like a really basic tight dress with football shoulders. And Bradon's jacket was cool and I liked the print, but everyone raving over the tubes of fabric surprised me a little - I mean, it was fine and put the focus on the jacket, but I was surprised they didn't call it a throwaway piece. It looked good but was obviously very simply constructed!

that's what i've been thinking too. i think they will have a 4 designer final show. justin, dom, helen, & bradon.

i do not think justin will win though.

The fact that Alexandra is still around is reminding me of the Gretchen debacle. I don't like it one bit. She should have gone home for that over starched tablecloth she sent down the runway for the Belk challenge.

what was the gretchen debacle? don't remember that, but i do remember that i was not a fan of gretchen.
i will be deeply disappointed in alexandria wins PR.

i'm betting that dom, bradon, or helen will. and i look forward to seeing all of their collections and would be happy if any 3 of them one since the three of them seem to be genuinely nice people -- dom especially, she is so happy and cheerful but not in an annoying way :)

bethie - just the fact that she actually ended up winning when Mondo was/is so much more talented.

WHAT?! Gretchen was on the season with Mondo?! totally forgot about that, yeah mondo totally should have won. He won project runway all stars so that is awesome.

i don't read fashion magazines and don't keep up with fashion news/gossip stuff, but i do wonder if any of the project runway (regular season or all star) winners really have broke through and made it career wise.

i know jay mcccarroll did or does design fabric. i wonder what all the other winners are up to?

or if some of them that even did or didn't make it to bryant park, if they somehow got "discovered" and landed some kind of cool job solely from the show and what they designed on the show.

The only one whose name I still see is Christian Siriano. He's all over the red carpets.

yes, didn't he also partner up with tori spelling for something? i say this because i have vague memories of watching her reality show and christian was on it for one (maybe more?) episodes.

wait, yes, i remember. some of christian's models wore tori's jewelry that she designed (it may be sold on QVC)

So tonight's seemed like kind of a copout from a reality tv perspective, but I am all for giving more designers a chance so I think it's great to see what they'll all make as collections.

The product placement is always irritating and over the top, but really? "And her NAILS are FABULOUS!!"

am happy that bradon and dom are in the finals. their final runway shows were fantastic.

interesting about helen, alexandria, and justin. i wonder if only one of them will be in the finals, or if the judges will choose two? i really loved justin's avant guard look. he is such a nice guy.

Dom and Bradon definitely deserve to be in the finals, they've knocked it out of the park all season long. I'm not sure who would have the better collection out of the other 3. Time will tell!

Was the ending just so they did not kick Justin off again?

I think yes. It seems like that whole second challenge was contrived solely for Justin's sake, although I really do love that idea. I won't be upset if that use that challenge again.

out of the 3 that do not have guaranteed spots, i'd most like to see a show from helen. i like her personality and i almost always like what she makes. still bummed that kate got voted off. i don't get it.

i really haven't liked anything alexandria has done this season. justin has been hit-or-miss, he does have a nice personality, but i'm not super eager to see him at bryant park.

wow, really enjoyed the part 1 of 2 for the finale.

i admit, i was not liking helen's collection :( i liked most of her stuff all season, not sure what happened. the stuff she showed, not good :(

i was very happy that justin did make it to the finale. i loved the concept behind his collection and his execution of his idea into amazing clothes speaks for itself. that unconditional challenge dress was *sick* (in a good way!)

alexandria, eh, i didn't love or hate her final showing. i doubt she will win project runway.

i'm most excited to see dom's and justin's collections. bradon's inspiration was wonderful, but i hope his collection doesn't look all old and flowery and matronly.
