I sent this post by mrsbadmouth to my buddy "The King of TV" Paul Goebel, and he mentioned it an hour into the latest episode of his podcast (#223 with Pat Healy).

I thought this would be a good launching point to discuss TV character/show crossovers. Our favorite, our least favorite, our dream crossovers, etc.

I remember the TGIF ABC Urkel crossovers when he was jetpacking from one show to another. Also, the NBC block where all the shows were set in New York and there was a blackout.

I would love a Dexter/Burn Notice crossover since they're both in Miami.

i really hate it when shows like grey's anatomy and private practice or the various law and orders, which share audiences and often do crossover episodes, cast the same actor as different people in the different shows. like, that crazy chick who cut violet's baby out of her stomach on private practice? she played a completely sane woman with a different name on grey's anatomy in an earlier season. it will bug me forever.

I really want Faith from Buffy/Angel to pal around with the Winchesters. Supernatural even made it totally plausible when they started doing their meta episodes.

I think there should be a Monk/Psych crossover because it would be hilarious.

That whole thing just blew my mind. I think that even if I read it a billion times I might not fully understand it.

I'd like a Dexter and Criminal Minds crossover. Or a Castle and Bones crossover that would be like that episode of Seinfeld with the bizarro Jerry, George, and Kramer.

My dream is a Buffy/SPN/VMars crossover wherein the Scoobies (or really just Buffy and Giles), the Winchesters, and the Mars duo team up to solve spooky mysteries.

I have fantasized about it often.

I would like to see Giles meet Bobby, though I think Bobby miiight be the bigger badass.

I just think that Faith and Dean would make awesome BFFs. :D

I don't know, I think Rupert "I'd like to test that theory" Giles could give Bobby a run for his money.

I want to see Anya and Cas together.

It depends whether or not they meet at Bobby's house. If they're in Bobby's house, I think Bobby might just own Giles. It would be close, and I love Giles, but Bobby has trapdoors, a panic room and lots of guns!


You and me both! Especially with her constant references to sex; I see Cas getting completely confuzzled. But, you know, being an ex-demon and doomed to die, she'd probably have the hots for Sam.
