I just spent 10 frustrating minutes trying to find it (illegally) online. Then I checked the wiki again. It doesn't air til next week. D'oh!
This show looks totally rad. Cannot wait.

This show looks totally rad. Cannot wait. You can get it on Hulu! I thought it was funnyish. It is kind of like an SNL skit on a very broad Portland stereotype, so I don't think it can really sustain a whole season of funny, but the opening sequence was amusing.

I watched it today! I'm surprised I found it funny because I've never been to Portland, but between my time in Northampton, MA and my time on the PPK over the years, I was able to understand it pretty well. Also, STEVE BUSCEMI <3.

I'm watching it right now and I <3 it! I loved the part where Fred told Carrie that she was "too San Francisco" and took off her septum piercing and plugs =) [I'm from SF and have a septum piercing & stretched ears]
It makes me wanna visit PDX so bad!

Feminist bookstore will always be my favorite. The rest wasn't as funny as I hoped, but I definitely enjoyed the ridiculousness of it all.

I thought it was hysterical, went dark/kookier than expected, enjoyed the local footage a lot, and give it 2-3 weeks before I'm incredibly sick of every single person on the street talking about the show.
And I can see every situation happening (at least to a degree). I was deeply questioned about the origins and upbringing of the mushrooms I brought to a potluck yesterday.

I was cracking up at the polygamist cult chicken farm. That was absolutely my favorite.
Oh, and feminist book store woman "this was sewn with human hair". Awesome.

I've only been to Portland once, and I found it hilarious. I had no idea Carrie Brownstein was in it! For some reason, whenever I saw the title, I thought it was a documentary about Portland. I guess I need to read more.

I find it less funny and more of a documentary of life in Portland. Unfortunately.
A friend of mine was amused that after watching the "Dream of the 90s" video at my apartment he experienced the sight of a unicyclist riding down Stark.

I've never actually lived in Portland, but I used to spend pretty much every weekend there. It was funny because it was true. I don't really like Fred Armisen on SNL and I wasn't that into him here. Carrie Brownstein was awesome though. My favorite was the hide and seek library sketch, especially the part where the old lady was telling him to get a job.

I loved the old lady, makes me miss my grandma. I laughed so hard when the cult leader was telling Carrie she was being a bisque when he was dying.

I loved the opening song. I want to retire in Portland!
There are 6 episodes, so they probably won't run out of material before the end of the season.

The "Portland is where young people go to retire" thing is so funny. It's true! My good friends who live there are all under 30 and work part time retail. I even remember thinking when I thought we were going to move to Portland "oh, cool I'll just get a part time job and spend the rest of the time working on MY ART (which involves putting birds on top of things)."

I wish I could live in a place where my lack of work ethic would be appreciated.
