Harold Ramis has died from complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis.

I'm as upset about this as I was when John Hughes died (hence the change of tributary avatar). Egon Spengler was my first nerd crush and pretty much the template for all future crushes. And Harold Ramis just seemed like such a decent guy. I'm super sad.

I really hope they don't go forward with Ghostbusters 3 without him.

I thought I posted and my post didn't come through.

Anyhoo, very sad to hear this. I might be one of the few people on the planet who never saw Ghostbusters, I remember him from Stripes. I loved that movie as a young'un.

So sad. My little brother used to make us watch Ghostbusters 2 on repeat every single day, I can quote that movie start to finish. Egon but not forgotten.

That's amazing and lovely.

This one made me blub.

I think I'm gonna be sad about this for a long time, the way I'm still sad about Phil Hartman's death. I'm gonna be making Twinkies and watching Ghostbusters (1 and 2) and possibly Groundhog Day this weekend.
