DH used to have an old message board like this one for screenwriters, which was taken down only a few weeks ago, I think, and just about all of his posts were full of trying-too-hard-to-be-funny racist comments. In his posts it seemed like he was a very emotional person and with a big chip on his shoulders. He could be really nice and sweet in one post and rip your head off in another. So I can see CC and DH butting heads.

Here's something by him that was on the forums. He was trying to help out struggling screenwriters by giving them these short how-to lectures.

I just read a long piece on ONTD about how CC has a reputation as a crasshole (I guess I didn't know that). The asshole-ish-ness doesn't sound one sided at all, but I really wouldn't miss Pierce. He really was the most interesting when he was completely evil, but it was so hard to watch.

I LOVED that episode. It was just amazing. Britta being a terrible photographer was the best.

I will not miss Pierce if Chase leaves the show, give Chang more screen time.

Has anybody read this article from Wired? It's from last year, but at the very end he talks about looking into Aspergers because of Abed and basically finding out he (Harmon, that is) falls on the spectrum.

This was pretty funny but overall I didn't love the episode (but I was only half paying attention)

It's true! The first time I saw it my toddler was freaking out at me most of the ep, and I missed a lot. Much funnier on second viewing.

Second viewing. It's amazing. How great was the Dean in his costume! "I think I went too far with this one." Also I love Britta and Troy when they smile at each other. Gillian Jacobs has the sunniest smile.
K the Dreamatorium was ridiculously awesome. Annie's cockney accent! Abed as Britta and Troy: "I don't usually support lunch bc it's unfair to breakfast." "I never thought about meals fighting each other!!!" Amazing. And Abed's brain breaking noise!
The whole hospital-school thing with the two of them imagining everyone was INSANE. How amazing. Also, Abed's idea that Britta and Troy 'fooling around' would just be them petting each other. Poor Abed really thinks that no one but Troy likes him. A lot of his imaginings were really sad. Annie/Annie was amazing omg. Then Annie as Abed rambling Cougar Town and 'meta meta'! Hahah. Oh Abed. He's amazing. "This mission has gone pear-shaped indeed!" What does that mean!

This episode was super hilarious with everything that Abed and Annie did, but my absolute favorite was Troy saying "I didn't get Inception." I laughed until I teared up a bit.

troy's whole truth serum speech was amazing.

"I use comparisons to Hitler to win arguments on the internet at the drop of a hat."

I thought this was genius. After the meh wedding episode, and the somewhat predictable blanket-town versus Pillowtown episodes, this was just amazing.

I am looking for a new show to watch and people seem to love this one, but I just watched the first two episodes and they were really annoying. Does this show get drastically better, or do I just have the wrong sense of humor for it? I liked Abed; I really hated everyone else.

The show really really evolves even in the first season. and I think everyone just about becomes way more likeable.

I usually think that people who hate something that everybody in the room loves, probably just aren't into the type of humor presented. The show does progress, but it gets even more removed from reality with each season.

I definitely don't find the first few episodes nearly as engaging as the stuff later in season 1.
