okay... did spencer's mom say "the state prison in muncie" at the beginning of the episode??

I think she did! But i'm assuming she doesn't mean Indiana since they're somewhere on the east coast.

They're supposed to be somewhere on the Main Line, an hour outside of Philadelphia (how much do I love that this crazy-ass show takes place where I live?) - the prison they're talking about is SCI Muncy, which is in sort of the north-central part of the state, about 2.5-3 hrs north-west of Philly. It's where PA's female death row inmates are housed. So yeah, Hanna's mom is in some serious shiitake.

i think aria's brother always comes off as too flirty with her - ick.

maybe mona feels she owes hannah - so she is doing her a favor?

a is been missing out with the texts lately!

I keep wanting to quit this show. Two out of four main actresses being HORRIBLE at their job is not a good ratio.

Plus there weren't nearly enough blatant racists for it to actually be York. My main pet peeve is always the weather - it seems to be mild and sunny in Rosewood, no matter what season they're supposed to be in. They'll be wearing tank tops and bare legs when it's between Halloween and Christmas in the show. In reality they should spend half the year being gross sweaty messes and the other half bundled up in parkas.

Apparently there is a women's prison in Muncy, PA: http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/se ... uncy/11399

So... CeCe? She's Red Coat? CeCe? Jenna is terrified of CECE? Nope, not buying it. I don't buy that CeCe can walk and drink a diet Coke at the same time, let along mastermind these kinds of schemes. Or that Jenna is capable of human emotions like fear, for that matter.

Paige and Emily made me sad. I like them together. Surely someone in Rosewood can give Emily a bionic shoulder.

So Alex Mack is going to take Malcolm and move across the country, leaving Fitz to once again pursue his passion for underage girls who get dressed in the dark. Color me bored with their whole story. I want Fitz to be evil just because otherwise he's dull as dishwater.

Where on earth did Pastor Ted get 100K? Do small town churches just have that kind of money lying around? Did he rob the collection plates? Make a deal with the devil at the crossroads? Either way, he's got some game. And Hanna's dad is the worst. He's like Hank Summers bad. I bet Hanna could die and be replaced with a robot and he'd never even notice.

And now Mona is back in the nuthouse? When she was packing her bag, I thought for a second that she was going to skip town, but I guess her essence is tied to Rosewood and if she tried to leave she'd turn to ash and blow away with the wind or something. Did the cops send her to Radley or did she just go back for fun? She had the full-on crazy eyes working in that last shot.

Please write PLL recaps for a living.

I'll bet Pastor Ted comes from a rich family or something.

I'm guessing that Mona asked to be sent back to Radley or that was her whole angle in confessing. For some reason. I don't know, I just try to keep my head empty of any thoughts as I watch this show.

Dream job.

Yeah, now that I'm thinking about the way she was fingering "will the circle be unbroken," you're probably right about Mona's return to Radley being intentional. For some reason that I'm sure won't make sense even after it's revealed.

I feel bad for red coat that she has to wear a coat in August. That must be what hell is like.

And you know that shiitake is wool too. She's really suffering for her art.

Red Coat is equipped with a thick layer of evil that insulates her from heat, cold, and logic.

Also, I was pissed at Paige for not telling coach-dude about Emily's injury. That shiitake's dangerous - why would you keep pushing someone you care about to do something that could hurt them? BACK OFF PAIGE. Also, there are a lot of boy-abs in this show. My life was never that ab-filled in highschool. It's still not that ab-filled, but you know.

Don't those bisques know by now that nothing good ever happens at a lake house?

Seriously, you pretty much only throw someone a surprise party in the woods in Rosewood if you want them dead.

I love this thread but this page is particularly hilarious :)

I agree, Amanda you could write recaps (no one is doing it for Twisted - hint hint!)

And yep, the girls defo never learn from their pasts, lake house = bad idea, walking in the woods at night = bad idea, leaving the curtains open = bad idea!

Okay so tonight I was bored and went back and watched the second episode on Netflix. I really think we should all collectively go back and comment because it's sad to say but this show has gotten better since the beginning. There is a totally legit Don't Stand So Close To Me scene when it pours down rain on Aria and Fitz sees her and his car pulls over in slow motion. I can't even.

I would do this.

Fee, I remember that scene - Ezra was a total creeper, pulling into a dark alley and molesting a high school girl.

It's so weird to see how much they all changed looks-wise. Not saying either way was better or worse, but they look SO different in the span of a few years. Like none of them look like teenagers now, at least in my opinion. I wouldn't card any of them if they came to my imaginary liquor store. But in the first season? Mere babies!
