The closing scene, after a whole bunch of craziness has gone down, where the camera closes in on the ricin cigarette, sitting on a floor or on the ground, having fallen out of Jesse's pocket unbeknownst to him or anyone else and rolled away, never to be discovered.
It was just an idea, but having heard an interview with Cranston on the "W.T.F." podcast, I think I guessed it right.

Yeah, I agree with this, or something along those lines.
I was way behind due to having been on vacation and we watched the last 3 episodes all in a row. Jeez. It was pretty intense. I can't even see how they're going to have an entire other season.
Betsy Brandt: I do have a scene with Jonathan Banks but I'd like to also get together with Saul Goodman. TAL: Did you just reveal that you won't be meeting Saul Goodman this season?? Betsy Brandt: Oooh [whispers] oops... I do love Bob Odenkirk so much, I would love for it to happen.
I thought, why would Mike the Cleaner cross paths with Marie?
And then I saw Jonathan Banks name in the opening credits, so I was sure Mike would figure into things.
It didn't happen. THEY SET US UP LIKE TIO SET UP GUS!

What a AWESOME finale!!! Loved it - this season was as good as season 1. That scene with Gus!! Though, like, his brain was gone. I feel like that wouldn't be naturally possible, to get up and walk out like that.
So, that lily of the valley plant was in Walts back yard, right? So maybe he actually DID poison the kid.
I'm excited to see where Mike comes in to play next season. Will he avenge Gus....join their side??
seriously, was that really necessary? It was a bit much.
This is very vague, so I'm not sure what you think was "a bit much," but I'm just gonna guess and say, yes, it was really necessary, and it was awesome.

Yep, Walt definitely poisoned Brock. (Vince Gilligan has confirmed it in every interview since the finale aired.) Other fun facts:
-Tio's nurse is Peggy's mom on "Mad Men." -Walt's neighbor, the cat lady, is Vince Gilligan's mom.
I think the Gus scene was just to peas people off for a few seconds, thinking he was still alive. This really has been one of the best seasons; my favorite episode was when Gus killed the cartel members with the poison. So bad asparagus!
My hope for next season is that Walt's family kind of becomes the local drug ring leaders. Of course, I doubt that will happen but it would be cool.
I loved the finale, even the Gus straightening his tie thing because maybe I'm a sucker but for a second I totally thought "OMG HE'S STILL ALIVE" haha. Also, I want to know how Walt got Brock to eat the berries dammnit! My prediction is that next season Jesse will somehow find out it was Walt and it will be a Jesse v. Walt death match of something.

I didn't pay attention at the time, but I was intrigued to read a review of the finale (AV Club?) that referred to the scene in the penultimate episode when Walt was spinning the revolver on the patio table by the pool. The reviewer mentioned that the revolver pointed at Walt a couple of times, but ended up pointing at a plant. I wonder if the plant was the lily of the valley? In that case, Walt could have been playing Russian roulette to decide between taking his own life and risking that of an innocent child.
I totally thought Gus had survived the blast. I'm a sucker.

Oh, I remember that... that's definitely an interesting point. Although, I don't think he'd take his own life but I could see that scene being a foreshadow of the kid's poisoning.
Gus with half a face was like a scene out of another show. I know Breaking Bad crosses over into absurd territory pretty regularly, but that scene took it to another level.
