I'm still cracking up about April crying and hugging her sister after her speech. That was so awesome.

YES! he was great. Also, Tom's friends speech ideas, the wedding vows. the part where April said "im going to marry him and divorce him and marry him again." there were so many gems in that episode. I need to watch again.

I loved this episode so much. I was grinning from beginning to end--so funny, so aww-y.

This episode summed up a lot of why I love this show so much. It manages to be sincere and optimistic and positive while still being hilarious and smart. So much comedy relies on cynicism and sarcasm and snark and Parks and Rec is like a breath of fresh air.

Yes, this. Even the more self-centered or crazy characters are likeable, and they all seem to genuinely care about each other. I always feel like they're setting up some huge disappointment or mean-spirited joke, because other TV has made me paranoid, and then the people end up being nice to each other (well, I guess except to Jerry - haha)! And still funny!

And the thing is, when the show first started, I thought they were painting Leslie Knope as a bumbling screw up who thinks people love her when they don't, Michael Scott-style (starting at that town meeting where she meets Ann), so I kind of love that she's actually totally amazing and impressive at her job, and that she and Ann became best friends.

April and Andy are the cutest forking thing I have ever seen. Their vows were painfully adorable.

Also, I laughed so hard at the last part with Leslie and Ben with the creepy kid behind him, but I was disappointed too, because once again, they dangled a kiss moment in front of us and ripped it away. So close!

I love this show so much. It's like a big, warm hug. So much joy. This was a really awesome episode.

Chris talking so enthusiastically about mortality with April's creepy friend was the best.

I really hope April and Andy's marriage sticks. They're so sweet together.

If I haven't been sucked in by the third episode of the first season, should I stop or keep watching? Advice people! I do love Amy Poehler...

Keep watching. I stopped at the same point you did. For months, people told me to keep going. So I caught up on Netflix, and I ended up burning through seasons one thru three in less than a week. Now, P&R is my absolute favorite sitcom ("Modern Family" is a close second).

The first season, which wasn't even a full season (six eps? seven?) was about establishing the characters and premise. They had a lot more episodes in the next couple seasons to just have fun. And fun they had!

Yes. Keep going. The first season is only 6 episodes. After that, you are in the amazing happy land that is P&R S2.

I loved this episode! I love that April buys dead crows at the grocery store while Andy buys a pinwheel. :D

And I totally called that Tom just made 15 billion different profiles. :D

Here's another vote to keep watching. The show gets waaay better once the second season kicks in. Patience!

There were plenty of hilarious moments in this week's episode, but I have to say that aside from the ones already posted (Bean blankies! Crows!), I cracked up at the umami line.
