Who watches? What's your team?

Mike and I are Giants fans. I'm going to see them play the Dodgers on Friday! Go Giants!

I just love going to the local ballpark. One time I went and they gave out garden gnomes! Go Padres!

My Giants are pounding your Padres as I type!

I like the garden gnomes thing, though. The Giants gave out Menorahs a while ago...

I root for the Brewers, natch. We're better than we've ever been this late in the year since 1982 and currently in the process of splitting a series with the filthy, filthy Cardinals, above whom we still hold a towering 9.5-game lead. Tony La Russa can eat a bag of dicks.

We're #1 in the NL Central and our magic number is 11 and I love Ryan Braun (our awesome and totally hot franchise player) and Prince Fielder (at least until he goes to the Yankees next season). Yay baseball!

When I was a kid, I was a big Phillies fan because the first time I ever saw a baseball game was on class trip to Philadelphia. Then dad and I started going to games together (it was one of the few things we connected on). He'd take me to AAA Buffalo Bison games, and once in a while we'd drive up to Toronto to see a Jays game. (This was back when they played in Exhibition Stadium, before the Skydome was built.) I was a Jays fan but didn't follow them religiously. When I moved to Seattle, I became a HUGE Mariners fan. My friends and I would go to games at the Kingdome whenever we could. I moved away just in time to miss their 1995 AL West Championship season.

Since living in Europe, I've lost all track of what's going on in MLB. I kind of miss it. Whenever I pay attention to it, I have no idea who any of the players are anymore, and even some of the new teams take me by surprise. It's still fun going to the ballpark, though.

Red Sox of course! I am watching right now. We're in 2nd place in our division, can't wait for the playoffs. Jacoby Ellsbury and Dustin Pedroia are my predictable favorites.

1993 Toronto Blue Jays!

I collected a lot of baseball cards as a kid even though I didn't actually watch/follow the sport (they were cheaper than hockey cards!), so I have a weirdly extensive knowledge of late 80s early 90s baseball players and stats.

I guess I might be a by-default Giants fan. I liked watching fireworks at GG Park outside my window when they won the series last year, and I like that they were (correct me if I'm totally wrong) kind of an underdog team.

I got the chance to buy postseason tix through the lottery today. psyched even though I could only afford two standing-room tickets for the first home game.

my dad's family (brooklyn) are mets fans, so i've always kind of liked them best. my mom and stepdad are yankees fans. now i'm in new england where that's not allowed. i will watch the red sox, but i don't care so much.

if i had to choose a team i like watching a lot, i'd go for the brooklyn cyclones. minor league all the way!

you been to see a Poo Sox, I mean Paw Sox, game yet?? They're fun, though you'll have to wait til next season to catch a game. Stadium is small and cute and you can sit on grass stands in the out-outfield. It would also appear that nowadays they even have some vegan alternatives at concessions.

whoa they actually say "vegan hot dogs" and "vegan burgers" instead of just leaving you guessing with "veggie"! Must get to a Paw Sox game next year.

So sad to be missing baseball season's end , which regrettable always does seem to come to an early close for the Pads. Ah well.

yeah we went a few years ago! to me, the stadium is enormous for a minor league team - i like the cyclones stadium, it's teeny. their veggie burgers are kind of weird, but the dogs were ok and it was exciting to be able to eat a hot dog at a baseball game like a normal person.

we went for the star wars day, which i think they do every year.

Diamondbacks! Worst to first, woo!! What a comeback season. My friends went to their game against the Dodgers earlier this week and I saw them on TV in the stands, super cool (I am easily entertained).

I've got to be careful with my fan gear; I can easily overdo it cuz I've got purses, tshirts, hat, jewelry...wear one item with "Dbacks" on it and its a conversation starter, anymore than that its like...wow you REALLY like them eh? Cool lady...

Even if you support a different team, you must admit that the Phils is the best looking team. Even if you just go with Utley.

Baseball still exists.

Unfortunately the Mariners don't seem aware of this fact.

hey woah. one day...one day they'll wake up again and, like the Seahawks, shock the nation with a stunning win.

This is what I keep telling myself, because the only sport I'll happily watch is baseball, in person.
