Just watched Torn and Frayed.

Shirtless Sam. I would watch an entire season of shirtless Sam just reading the phone book. Hello nurse.

I really liked the last one with Felicia Day. Seemed like old school SPN.

OMG Larp and the Real Girl was awesome.

SO awesome. also happy the boys have a new home, but seriously. I'd be cool if no show ever again had nazis.

The Nazis were into the occult, so I can see how it would work as a story. But, yeah, enough of that. I loved the Jewish mythology of the Golem. Nice change from the usual Catholic/Christian stuff with crosses and holy water. I'd like to see more of it.

Love the new hideaway. Kinda almost reminds me of Giles and his home, only bigger and brighter. I hope the show is turning in a new direction.

I actually really liked this last episode - Max from Veronica Mars made me laugh several times. I still wish we knew where the show was going or that it had a clear conclusion.

I totally did not recognize him from Veronica Mars. I thought it was a great episode, though. I love the direction they're going in with the Men of Letters/mysterious library hideout. I've been pretty tired of the Angels and all that.

yeah, I'm hoping they'll keep going with the Men of Letters. I always thought, geez, why don't the hunters keep a secret website or something so they could share information about new monsters and stuff.

Last night's ep may be my last. SPN is the most woman hating show on tv. And it sucks that they both jumped in the car and just took off without her. Cowards. Meg was my favorite baddie.

Yeah, I was upset to the point of fixation for hours afterwards, I wasn't a huge Meg fan, but for her last ep it was absolutely disgusting that they reduced her to Cas' pizza man kiss. 8 seasons and that's what she gets to be remembered for.

I have other issues with last night's ep too, but they're shipper stuff so I'll save them for twitter and tumblr.

Didn't they already get renewed again? What the fork are they going to do for another season?

Jessilikewhoa-same. I'm scrolling through tumblr to get other shippery reactions but SO MANY ISSUES with how they killed off Meg. What the hell?

UGHHHHHHH. I mean, still watching, but seriously disappointed with that. Meg's been on forever and she is well loved and has a good role. A fellow fan and friend of mine had the good point that they set up a really cool potential redemption arc for Meg only to crush it. BLAH.

The show has only ever had, what, 3 black characters, and one of them is a sexy lady/bisque on a chain. They did a good job with Rufus, but um diversity much?

Yeah, their treatment of characters of color and women characters is not good. Like I could die a happy lady if I never have to sit through another stupid joke about Busty Asian Beauties.

lillianp, the fan reaction to this ep has been so big and so mixed, the writer was inundated with criticism on twitter, and I think the only other ep to generate the amount of meta this one has generated was The End.

Question here: Back when the last profit was around (can't remember his name) Cas told Dean that there was an archangel assigned to protect every profit. That's why Lilith ran off when Dean brought the profit into the room with her. If that's the case, why is Crawley able to torture Kevin Tran without an archangel coming down to beat his asparagus? Are all the archangels dead or is it just a plot hole?

I think all the Archangels are presumed dead after Cas' stint as god.

Did anyone notice that Kevin doesn't seem to be vegan any more? Unless that was a veggie burger that Dean brought him...

Kevin was living on hot dogs at one point too, so yeah, I'm pretty sure he's no longer vegan (though in an interesting twist, the actor who I'm almost positive is an omni tweeted that he was actually eating veggie dogs when filming that scene, and that they tasted good).
