Ugh that sucks, I'm sorry. I think Amazon has it for purchase, even though obviously that's not perfect either.

If you are in the US the finale is free on Hulu and CWTV. If you are outside the U.S. you can use hidemyass.com to access them, I believe

Yeah, I don't have a DVR so I pretty much exclusively watch them on the CWTV thing. It's still available on there!

okay guys here's what I want from season 11:

1.) cas is okay
2.) cas starts a wildflower garden at the bunker and watches bees
3.) people are kind and gentle to castiel
4.) people are kind and gentle to dean winchester
5.) dean winchester stops hating himself and maybe fixes up a few classic cars and takes power-naps
6.) sam winchester gets to read a goddamn novel and sleep for at least 8hrs a night and eat as many fresh vegetables as he wants.

I haven't watched in like three seasons and I am totally on board with that.

I finally managed to get the DVDs I imported of Season 10 to work (on my laptop). I have watched the first 3 eps so far.

As much as I loved Dean singing I'm too sexy at drunken karaoke, I didn't really like him being a demon when he was with Sam. And the whole cure thing happened so quick I was like, huh is that it? I was expecting him to be faking!

I feel like I don't really know the show anymore. Does anyone else feel like that? Like with season 1-5, I know them inside out. I have watched all the episodes multiple times and loved them. I know the mythology and plot lines really well. But with the later ones... I'm pressed to really remember the full plot of seasons 6-9. I used to always rewatch the season before, before a new one started and I would download the show cuz I couldn't wait for the UK to get around to showing it. I still like the show but I miss the old days. I'm watching S10 and I can't really remember what happened in 9, except that Dean got the mark of Cain and became a demon at the end.

I'm hoping that my other half gets more interested in it so I can rewatch them with him, but he's only on season 2 so far.

OKAY WHO WATCHED THE PREMIER AND WHO WANTS TO TALK ABOUT IT?

I am hesitantly VERY STOKED about this season?? I feel like this might not be as disappointing as s10 was.

Spoiler: show
I was actually screaming "YES" at my TV when Sam was talking about how they have to re-examine and change their previous behavioral patterns, and then Dean AGREED. like, I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch or whatever but CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT? PERHAPS A SLIGHT DEPARTURE FROM THE TOXIC MASCULINE EGO-DRIVING ACTIONS, CODEPENDENCY, AND THOUGHTLESS VIOLENCE (not like 'killing vamps' thoughtless, but like 'kill everything that gets in the way' thoughtless violence. I accept that hella violence is a part of the show forever) ?

is no one else still trapped in hell with me? I'm emotionally invested and hesitantly optimistic re: the new season

I watched the first episode and found it pretty great. I really want to see what the deal is between Dean and Darkness. But I'm annoyed that after talking about how they need to not lie to one another they are back to lying to protect each other. It's the worst codependent relationship on TV.

YES boober!! I agree with everything you said! And you too T'lish!

Just watched the second episode, and first: whatever happened to the big wing-shaped burn around angels when they got killed? Too much work I guess. Second: am I the only one who really wanted Dude!Hannah to make out with Castiel? Just me?

Also, A++ for "Father" Crowley, and his "I'm WAY more of a Daphne" line.

SEASON 11 EPISODE 4 IS WORTH A WATCH EVEN IF YOU GAVE UP ON THE SHOW YEARS AGO. just for the directing ALONE it's worth it. seriously.

also, I am like... really enjoying this season so far?? I was so exhausted and over it at the end of last season but I feel like MAYBE the writers/producers also got sick of it and are fixing a lot?
I dunno, I'm soo hesitantly hopeful. Like, do y'all remember the 5th season of Angel and how the 4th season was awful and made everyone hate everything but the 5th season was GREAT? I'm feeling those vibes from this season of spn.

THAT EPISODE WAS BETTER THAN THE ENTIRE LAST SEASON OMG <3<3<3 I loved this episode so much and I actually had tears come to my eyes (when after their little heart-to-heart Sam was like "goodnight jerk" and Dean got that look and said "goodnight bisque" and I just... OMG).

Yeah, I feel like they're finally getting back on track. Thank goodness, because I was *this close* to giving up on this show.

Thin Lizzie was awesome. Len was so creepy and I felt so bad for him. It was way scarier to imagine that people who lose their souls just go on living, and that everyone responds differently.

This show is really getting good and less of last season's "ermangerd Sam is hiding something from Dean" or vice versa.

I just saw the teaser clip for the next ep and I just want to thank whatever TV gods are responsible that requests 1 and 3 on my "hopes and dreams for season 11" list are BEING MET.

Me too! The last 2 episodes were awesome. Loved the Valentine's one and the " Don't You Forget About Me" one with Claire Novak and Alex and Sheriff Jody Mills. Such great acting there and they managed to do such a good job portraying teenage angst. And pointy teeth.

I just finished season 10 and it was kinda blah, like the last few seasons have been. I'm glad you guys have enjoyed 11 though, maybe I won't give up on it!

don't give up! I was SO UNHAPPY with most of season 10, but I think season 11 of spn might be like season 5 of angel where the previous one was awful but this one is great, brings it around, and (hopefully???) finishes it.
