Holy shiitake, Sammy! You know it's bad when creepy Grandpa Campbell thinks you're acting shady.

Dangit, did I miss a scene where they discuss what the vamp cure is made of? What is it? Hawaiian Punch with fish sauce? Hurl-tastical!
I don't buy that baldy is really grandpa. I just don't.
I think Sam is some vengeful un-Sam beast, but I'll be bored if it is as simple as soul-less-ness. I crave a more complex mythology.

All I heard for sure about the cure is that you needed the blood of the vamp that turned you. I still don't understand how they never knew about this during the first 5 seasons, but whatever.
I don't think anyone in the little Campbell family hunting party is quite who they say they are. It's just too convenient.

I thought for sure that they were going to rescue Kristen. But I guess she is stuck being an undead hooker for eternity, unless she gets staked.

I would like to add that I usually like it when friends come over and watch Mad Men. I am super grumpy tonight, due to whiplash. ACTUAL whiplash? Oh, Karyn :( Uh-huh. On Thursday, I was riding home from work on my bicycle. I was going down this fairly steep hill. Two cyclists were riding up the hill. One went to pass the other, moved into my lane, and crashed directly into my handle bars. I landed HARD on the pavement. So, I am sore. My bike's a little worse for wear, too. I have the other guy's phone number, but I was in shock and not thinking straight and didn't call the cops for an accident report. So, I could be screwed re: having him cover the damages to my bike. At least I'm not in the hospital.

KarynMC, I'm happy you're okay, but that sounds so scary! Did you get checked out to make sure you don't have a concussion?

I just finished watching it for the second time (thanks Karyn!). I hadn't even realized how forked it was that Sam knew of the cure and didn't tell Dean after he was bitten. Even if his plan had been to let Dean get turned so he could infiltrate the nest, he could have told Dean so Dean could have avoided drinking any blood.
I want old Sammie back!

I didn't hit my head, which is probably the only reason I did not get an ambulance ride. I was just really shaken. Like, physically, I was shaking. I can't even tell you what happened after he hit me, because it happened so quickly. I jumped up right away (mostly to reassure myself that I could), so I don't even know how I landed, really, except that I must have rolled some. My left forearm hurts the most, but I can rotate it, so I think it's just banged up. I'm just so bruised/whiplashed that it hurts to move/ have anything touch me.

OK I watched it and I didn't love it!! I didn't hate it either but this season is making me sad - what the fork, Sam? And there's a cure, a cure for vampyrism. REALLY?? Whatever. I don't like Samuel, I feel he is taking up valuable Bobby time!
I thought Dean was brilliant in this ep and I loved the pisstaking of Twilight, but I just don't like where they're going with Sam.

With the kidnappings and enchantments and being totally evil stuff. It could go so totally wrong, but because it's Edlund, I'm guessing it will be wrong in the best way imaginable. I mean, "teddy bear comes to life" doesn't look all that great on paper, either. :-)

Between the teddy bear and Smile Time, he's got a proven record of making the ridiculous sublime.

I just finished Season 1. Since I can't read the rest of this thread, I'm going to need some more photos.
