I am seeing Deathly Hallows again on saturday with my friends who actually have lives.

I'm actually think seeing this with my husband might be a bad thing. I find Daniel Radcliff too cute now. Which I kind of feel really weird about. When my friend and I saw the 5th movie we were so conflicted because we had been watching him since he was ten years old and now to find him so attractive. I seemed wrong somehow.

NPR did an article on the World Cup too, and mentioned that the guy has a sock or something hanging out of his back pocket that the seekers have to grab. I'm assuming it's like flag football? Anyway, I'm sad that I wasn't able to be there but I'll probably be going to the NYC Wizard Rock Festival next weekend! Woo! Also, have any of you gotten the meme going around about this phone #: (267) 436-5109 ? I was a little wary when my friend posted it on my wall on FB but called anyway and was not disappointed. Well, maybe a little.

I'm so excited for this movie! The trailers are almost too much to take.
I have a lot of mixed feelings about it though because the 6th movie disappointed me SO MUCH! They cut out almost all the interesting stuff about Voldemort and his past!! The 6th book is my favorite because it's a villain origin story and the movie glossed over it. Plus the 6th book set up so much of the 7th book, so I don't know what the movie is going to be like. I don't mind small changes in the movies because I know it can't be exactly like the book, but the decision to focus on all the teenage drama instead of Voldemort was a huge misstep for me. But I'm still pumped for the movie. I can't go to the midnight show but I will see it as soon as I can!

I downloaded all the movies and am trying to watch them all by Thursday night. Since the only thing I have to do between now and then is laundry tonight and physical therapy tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I can do it. Usually, I read the books prior to seeing the next movie, but I don't think I'll have time.

What's the phone number? It doesn't work from Australia, I've just tried... And oh my goodness, I went to the movie last night! And had SUCH AN AMAZING TIME! Quite apart from the movie, I met a vegan who gave me vegan Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Beans, and a girl with the Hogwarts logo and four Hogwarts houses tattooed on her back, and SO many awesome costumes. In particular there were a ton of AVPM costumes around - "Team Zefron" cloaks, and one girl with a shirt saying "Pigfarts is on Mars". And a totally awesome Snitch costume, and a group with obscure Quidditch robes (the Wigtown Wanderers and the Montrose Magpies...) and a handful of Dobbies. I love love love the atmosphere at midnight showings. Everyone cracked up when Hermione said, "Take it off, Harry!" and applauded for Dobby's "I am a free elf!" speech. So cool.
