Holy shiitake, all of the rewards above $400 are GONE. That is absolutely nuts.

This whole thing is insane! That guy who pledged $10,000 sounds really awesome, though.

i keep watching the ticker, just because it's awesome, and then i wonder if i should up my pledge. one of my grad students pledged $200 because she couldn't resist the allure of the signed movie poster, and now i'm feeling like i should do more. ha!

I went with the $100 package. Signed posters don't do much for me, I think you get a lot of stuff for the $100, and Brian doesn't kill me!

I don't think you can even get that, it says rewards are only open to the US. Even with digital stuff, there's different licensing for domestic and international.

Oh well. I'm just happy that it's getting made!

My heart. It's weak.

Party down at Fee's place!

I donated $100. I told the husband it's his birthday present to me. (That and some sale Butter London @ Ulta tomorrow) I'm with MBM - it seems like a lot of stuff and a pretty good deal, while $200 to get the signed poster as well isn't really worth it.

Whee!

I started a rewatch last night and the hubs wouldn't watch! Divorce time?

Oh and Rob said he's working on international stuff! So keep your fingers crossed.

eta: Oh and I sat down yesterday morning to be productive and spent my day watching the ticker - it was just so amazing!

I did the $35 package. I would have pledged more if I felt like if they were in danger of not reaching the goal, but clearly that wasn't an issue. Eeeeeeee!

I did $50 so I could get a DVD, which I'd probably end up buying anyway. the ones that give the dvds were kind of a rip off...

So the finishing S3 thing happened to me this week. We had checked it out from the library and I put in disk 6 and it was all like "special features" and I was all like "no, mother forker, I want to watch the rest of the show" and the disk was like"there IS NO REST OF THE SHOW."

And then I watched the special features and was so glad that they did not make season 4, because it looked awful and would not have had many of the awesome characters.

I am so team Logan. This show does the best job developing sleezeball characters who are so fun to watch: Lamm, Dick, Cliff (how has no one mentioned him?), Vinny.

When we were watching s2, my partner and I decoded VM was about human frailty, joke named and class war. Sort of like Russian lit.

Oh yeah, I feel like disc six should say on the front 'special features only - no, seriously, that was the end of the show'. For a long time I thought that the network brought the hammer down before they could finish filming the season, but that WAS supposed to be the season finale. So even if they had gotten renewed, that was the end of season three.

The disc could have had that warning and I would not have believed it. Because that finale was the worst.

sigged.

Also, has anyone watched the feminist frequency on VM?

Besides the fact that we're all getting what we want with the movie...I like that this movie is bringing it to new generations who will go back and watch the show. I read a tumblr the other day that was all "I’ve never seen Veronica Mars, but the kickstarter FAQs made me LOL… so i donated… also I WONDER WHO LOGAN IS?!?!?!?! hashtag cant wait to start watching." (Ahhhhhhh my insides are sick.)

I don't think I've ever seen more than about 35 seconds of the show, but now I'm wondering if I should try it out.

I am rewatching it on WB.com and it is amazing. I've seen it 3 times and it never disappoints, which is unusual for a TV show. The writing is fantastic and it has held up very well. Besides the tiny flip phones (pre- everyone having an iphone), its hard to tell its not a current show).

it would have been fine as a CLIFFHANGER! And yeah, I was warned multiple times about the end and i still went crazy searching the internet for what I assumed was the missing last episode. so so messed up.

Yeah, I lent the series to my comic dude and when I gave him season three, I have him a long speech about not putting the last disc in.

And he still put the last disc in.

Maybe we can finally get some V-Mars comics to fill the years in for us?

Yeah, VM comics! Taking a page from the book of Buffy.

Yeah, so I just rewatched all of season 1, then eagerly went to my DVD shelf to grab season 2. Surprise! It wasn't there. Turns out I lent it to my sister like 2 years ago, and it's still at her house, and she lives halfway across the country. Dang. Then I realized I could still watch on the WB website, and peace was restored.

I asked about the comics via the Kickstarter form and got a reply!

"We will be discussing that once we finish the film. Good question. Thank you for your support!"

Its going to be so interesting how they handle the movie and the fact that Kirsten Bell doesn't really look as much like a teenager as she did. Though that might be manageable through wardrobe and make up. But rewatching this show is just amazing.

This clip made me like Dax Shephard. He and KB talking about VM and wanting to make the movie. http://www.hulu.com/watch/392939 A
