So I read on Martin's blog that people were upset about Lady being killed (Sansa's wolf) (But suspiciously didn't mind that the butcher's boy was also killed in that scene) and thought that the wolf had really come to harm. He said the actress that plays Sansa adopted Lady irl. Warm fuzzies! Also, jealous.

Ha, I haven't seen last night's episode and was wondering the same thing. Which should probably tell you guys something about the future of the rest of these characters.

I just ordered the books. Does the fourth one suck as much as the internet seems to think?

I loved all of them. I will be re-reading them all this summer, hopefully finishing before the paperback release of A Dance With Dragons.

I don't think it sucks. Some characters aren't in it at all because he decided to split book 4 and 5 a weird way. Book 4 and 5 cover roughly the same time period, but he followed half of the characters in 4 and the other half will be in 5. The suck part is book 6 is probably years away.

i just started reading book one. i'm really concerned about the future of, well, pretty much everybody. i know there will be replacement characters, but i can't fathom the possibility that [new guy] will be half as awesome as [dead old guy]!

I haven't watched the latest ep but I know what you guys are unhappy about, that's how the books are so just be prepared for season 2. I think it's interesting in terms of casting, most shows have a cast that spans the entire series but that won't be the case for a lot of the actors in GoT.

I have 10% of A Clash of Kings to go. The story I'm invested the most in is Arya's followed by Bran and Jon and Dany's.

They're all incredible. I just think some people didn't like Feast for Crows as much because it didn't have some of their favorite characters POVs in it.

I believe two my favorites (Jon and Daenerys) didn't have POVs in Feast for Crows.
