so hopefully I will start remembering names. But I thought the look between Tyrion and the Queen was also odd, like he was expecting her to make a move on him or something. I need to watch it again, because he is way to clever for that sort of nonsense..

I think the look from Tyrion was more "do I hug my crying sister because usually she'd stick a knife in my back if given the opportunity" than anything else. Because of their strained relationship, he felt like he should comfort her but didn't know if it would be unwelcome. It was a rare moment of him feeling sympathy towards Cersei.

I agree with you, rachell. But my viewing companion thought it was something sexual, too! And that made me feel queasy.

I definitely thought he was just considering hugging her because she was sad, but then realized that would be too weird because she's usually such a croissant.

AND maybe he was afraid of her making a move. heh.

I took Tyrion's expression to mean he wasn't sure if Cersei was being real with him or not. Like she could have just been trying to get his guard down so she could be all evil on him and he's just not sure if she can trust him in the moment.

Yeah, I thought that too. I think he was confused because she seemed to be having a very rare moment of sincerity, and he didn't know how to react.

Holy shiitake!! That episode!!

Please, Tyrion, be okay! You're the only Lannister who doesn't suck! Sansa spoke the truth when she said the worst ones always live. Sigh. I did find drunk Cersei amusing, though.

I think Tyrion is ok. I'm disappointed there was no Dani! Couldn't they have cut away from people being hit in the head with rocks for 5 minutes and give us a little baby dragon? Or some deflowered Rob? Or some wildling Jon Snow??!?! OR ARIA AND THE A MAN??!! (Sorry about character misspellings. Too lazy to google.)

I'm going to rewatch that ep, I think. It feels like Tyrion is being set up to be king? Or maybe he'll just continue to rule behind the scenes, I don't know. I so can't wait for Joffrey to bite it, but I bet we're a long way off from that.

Oh and Cersei made some pretty amazing faces!

I liked that they didn't cut away from the battle. It needed a full episode.

If anything, I think they were foreshadowing Cersei's younger son becoming king (presumably when Joffrey finally gets offed - which hopefully will be sooner rather than later). That's not a spoiler, though! I have no idea. Just guessing.

I got a kick out of drunk Cersei, but man she was harse! And what's with killing your son before you even know if you've won or lost!

Thank you, Leigh Alexander of boingboing.net - for posting this (and almost making me fall off the sofa with laughter):

It would have been really dramatic if she'd given her son the poison just a second too soon, and then found out that they'd won after all.

tyrion can't be dead.... thank lawd there is 1 episode left.

I think it seems like Tyrion is being set up to be king as well, maybe him and Dany fall in love and they rule with the dragons together :)

There is pretty much no way that Tyrion could be king. He's nowhere near the line of succession, even if Joffrey, Tomen and Myrcella all died the throne would go to Stannis. Of course, if Joffrey bites it and Tomen takes the throne someone is going to have to rule the realm until he's old enough to assume power.

Wouldn't Cersei just be Queen Regent and take over until Tomen is old enough?

There’s only one episode left?! There’s no way they can wrap that much stuff up in one episode. Damn HBO and their short seasons!

I really thought that the vagina monster was going to do more than just that. I don't know. This ep was kiiind of slow, huh?

So does the alliance between Brienne and Cat mean that beyond a shadow of a doubt the Starks can't join the Baratheans? Also, Greyjoy is such a dipshit. I hate seeing his face. I love that Arya now has a hitman.

More baby dragons!!!!!

Spoiler: show
In the books not only does Arya have a hitman she is also quite capable of dispatching the bad guys herself.
Arya is uber awesome.

AWESOME episode, I'm sad there's only one left.

Cercei is such a beyotch, I love her. I don't think Tyrion is dead either, at least I forking hope not.

Joffrey is a little bisque and needs to die.

Yes, sorry. They are kind of the same thing in my head, even though they are not the same at all. I know that is nonsensical.
