I think season 5 is the worst, where Nancy is concerned. She's slightly less annoying in season 6!

This last episode was hit or miss for me. There were some great parts, like Martin Short's creepy lawyer bit, but man. That scene that's supposed to take place in Afghanistan? I've always loved the show's campiness, but I was really turned off here-right, let's continue perpetuating the stereotype that all Afghanis are irrationally violent.

It was pretty sad seeing how much Shane still clings to his mother and her approval even after everything she's put him through. I don't know, I used to love this show but I'm starting not to anymore.

Yes to all of this. Martin Short was fantastic as all get out.

I kinda like that Silas is seriously rebelling. I just can't feel sorry for Nancy right now. Especially, when it comes to Stevie. It sucks that her sister is doing her dirty, but Nancy really needs to grow the fork up already.

I watch this show with my dad and even though i am 22 it is still weird to watch sex scenes and stuff to me. haha

I kinda teared up a little when he said "I don't want you to go back to prison again" after he bought all that bedroom stuff for her. Still vulnerable and seeking recognition.

Agree & agree. I don't feel empathy for Nancy anymore.

OMG the ending! Who the hell was that in the bushes??? And are they making another series?

This season wasn't so great, even Andy wasn't that hilarious this season. But still, it was worth watching for Demitri - he is HOT!

My grandma used to watch soap operas and every day she would mumble on about how ridiculous and far-fetched they had gotten, yet there she was every day. We always made fun of her for it..."if you think they're so stupid, why are you watching?"

I think Esteban was in the bushes. I still was never convinced he was actually dead. They better have a season 7. Michele Trachtenberg's character was one of my favorite things about the season.

I've heard some people say that it was Peter's son. How crazy would that be? Michele was distracting...her eyes are too perfect haha

Yeah! The new season starts July 1st. I really thought last season was the end and hadn't heard anything about the show until recently.

I knew there would be another season because they left the last one on a cliffhanger. I will watch it probably even though it's kind of shiitake now.

so, it seems like everyone is over this show, but i'm enjoying this season immensely relative to the past one or two. everyone (except doug) is trying so hard to grow up and make a go of things in their own ways, and andy . . . i was really bummed to see ads for justin kirk's new show, because i just don't want to give andy up. at least it looks like the series will end on a warm note. and seriously, can we talk about mary-louise parker and her witchy prettiness? how does she look like that? she is 50. my skin wasn't that smooth when i was a fetus.

I haven't been watching cause I cancelled my cable. So I'll have to wait for the current season to be done and come out on dvd. But really the person on the show I'm routing for at this point is Silas. And I can't even imagine where else they can take this show or how much longer it can go. It's done.

I remember reading somewhere that this was the last season. I cancelled most of my cable channels a while back, so I have to wait also.
