I don't know what the name of the sketch is, but I love the ones where Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer are eating dinner with their children. Will Ferrell's character inevitably loses his temper and screams "I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS."

Also, anything with Ana Gasteyer.

I like the one where they take the mildly amusing concept and then grind it into the dirt with constant repetition.

I think I have to add a sketch that happened last night to my list. Jon Hamm was in a sketch called "I Didn't Ask For This" about getting famous from stupid things on Youtube. Anyway, Jon Hamm did this weird crying thing that had me laughing for 5 minutes straight. Tears streaming down my face, rolling on the ground laughing. And it got even funnier when they autotuned it. Maybe I was delirious, though, because Era thought I was forking crazy when I had him rewind it so I could watch it again. That, Back to the Future, and the Return of Shy Ronnie were the only funny things.

I've been reminded of a bunch of classic, old school SNL sketches lately, especially ones featuring Gilda Radner.

Particular favorites are the Patti Smith-inspired Candy Slice:

The brownie, Judy Miller:

And of course, Lisa Loobner, getting ready for her nerd prom:

I just saw this one from last night, and I love it! (The Fox News cold open.) There's even a vegan reference!

oh and deep thoughts!

My favourite skit from the delicious dish was the one with Alec Baldwin, "Nobody can resist my Schweddy balls."

Thank you! I was waiting for someone to comment on old school.

I'm a big fan of Wild and Crazy Guys, All of the President spoofs (the nixon and ford ones...Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd), the whole episode where Candace Bergen hosted in 75 was awesome, Eddie Murphy's Mr. Robinson (? not sure that's exact...it's the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood spoof) and there was an old sketch first season where all the women played teenagers and talked about sex and it was hilarious.

I LOVED Rachel Maddow's cameo. Just short and punchy enough for effect.

Bill Hader really needs to be playing Paul Ryan.

Also, I'm loving tonight's cold open.

I will miss Andy Samberg doing his Nick Cage on Weekend Update.

I liked the Tech Support skit last night.
